Finally
Got off my ass and went for a walk today (short walk). I have really been lazy for like a month. No idea how much weight I’ve gained. Planning to weigh in New Year’s Day. Need to get my act together.

Walking
Right now I’m focused on walking on the treadmill for 25 minutes a day. That’s a little over a mile. It’s small but I’ve already done several days in a row. Now I just have to keep it up once school starts back up tomorrow.
Weight loss bet
I’m trying to get back on track so I’m trying this out. I bet I would lose 40lbs in 6 months and am paying $25 a month which puts my potential winning at around $530 with a profit of over $300. Hopefully the threat of losing money will help me stay on track.

monday motivation
I once read “The secret of your success is found in your daily routine.” To me this was important to read. Being fit and healthy doesn’t just mean going to the gym 6 times a week for an hour or two a day. Being fit and healthy can mean waking up early to eat a balanced breakfast, walking with friends, swimming, running, hiking, dancing, yoga. To be happy with your journey finding something you love and finding balance is major key. Listen to your body and find something you love and that makes you happy. Once you find that, then strive to make it a routine. You do not have to go to a gym to be “fit.” Listen to your body and love what you do.
Dripping sweat
Walked 5 days in a row. I've been trying to jog. Today during my half hour walk I jogged 2.5 minutes twice. I know it's not a lot but being able to jog more than a minute is progress. Tomorrow rest day. I have blister that needs to heal. My goal is to do the same walk jog next week and then try to add more time to my jog. Desperately need a shower. I am dripping sweat everywhere.
Stepping it up
Trying to hit my daily step goal today. Over half way to 12k. I'm glad the rain stopped. I was able to get in a 55 minute walk. Have to take advantage of days where I'm feeling more motivated. They are sometimes hard d to find. Plus last night I rode my stationary bike for a whole episode of Bones, 43 minutes.
So I have finally hit the 10lb weight loss mark and its motivating. Here are some mental things I need to work on with that tho… Even tho I don’t see where I’ve lost it, I feel better. It takes time. Stop being impatient. Stop thinking about it. It won’t make me lose faster. Stop feeling guilty, life is a box of chocolates…sometimes I just have to eat one 😋 Stop weighing in every couple days. I know if I fluctuate then I’ll get discouraged. Ok great! Good pep talk!

Back at it
Been lazy again the last couple weeks. Went for a couple walks this week with my brother trying to get the motivation back. Walked for 30 minutes today and did 20 squats, 20 side squats, and 30 wall push ups. About to down some water.
Finally a motivation video without fitness models, but with ordinary girls!
Forever reblog.
Weight
I've switched things up this week and have been trying the Shred diet by Ian Smith. I think planning my meals has really been the key. Sunday weight: 241.9 Friday: 235.8 Weight loss: 6.1 lbs
Stuck
Well I've been stuck around 240 lbs for a month. Trying to step it up this week. Worked on the stationary bike 3 days, walked one day, and did some weights 2 days. I was at 238lbs this morning but lately the weekends haven't been great and I end up gaining the weight back. I'm hoping to keep it off this weekend.

Jan 1: 250.3

Down 6.9 lbs
While 6.9 lbs weight loss is great, it didn’t hit my goal for the month, especially with the extra exercise I’ve been putting in lately. But I’m still happy with my progress. I just need to keep it up.
