How’s everyone doing? My anxiety ebbs and flows I guess. My parents are still babysitting their grandkids, which pisses me off. The kids even had fevers yesterday. They just don’t fucking get that the quarantine is temporary. What’s a few months compared to literally dying in a quarantined wing of the hospital? But they’re Republicans so they don’t get it.

Also my boss last night emailed me about sending him a report of everything I’ve worked on for the past week. So I’m pretty pissed about getting into “defending my job” mode. It’s all just exhausting. I finally had like a year and a half of doing work I want to do--really don’t want to go back into the recession/post-recession years of grinning and bearing it while doing bullshit, underpaying, underrespected work.

I don’t even fully understand why because I’ve been expecting the worst of this pandemic since the news of it started, but yesterday I started to get really nervous. For the first time since it started I couldn’t sleep at night.
