I'm proud to say it is now possible to play track 3, 4 and 7 from the real music album "interwoven stories". I'm not so proud that the music boxes are just stacked beneath the previous three atmospheric sci-fi-songs. However, there is a day tomorrow too ;)
When the song you're playing ends, the text box is reset instead of freezing at "Currently playing ..". Details, Watson. Details!
The length of the currently playing music box / track is now displayed after the name of the track. However, it seems there is some malfunction in Firefox that makes the value wrong. It works in Chrome. _Update: It seems I was wrong; or rather, VLAN reported the wrong values for the .ogg files, and Chrome too. I've added a little more HTML trickery, and now Firefox and Chrome report the same lengths as Audacity, which should be the authority when it comes to measuring the length of songs, since it's possible to edit the data from .ogg files in it._
There are now icons describing the controls of IWS.
It's now possible to look around by pressing and holding the left mouse button, also known as "mouse look". And the music boxes are 2x2 dm big - a little more manageable.
I added a very plain house model (including the SketchUp lady, she's returned!). Also, one minute rain sample in beginning of interaction. Just to get a feeling of what the atmosphere can become later on.
To make moving feel a bit more 00' instead of 90', it's now possible to turn left and right by holding down the left mouse button. Also, to get a better feeling for the scale of the world, I added three 1-meter long blocks in different colors.
It's now possible to toggle the visibility of the "infobox" to the right.
There is now a "navigation menu" at the top of the main pages of this project: the actual IWS project page, the blog and the about page.
Added an _interwoven stories_ title image, plus moved the yellow "welcome/currently playing" text below view instead of above.
Added "required browser" section to the info text box. Internet Explorer not supported!
I've added a pre-alpha banner to make sure everybody visiting _interwoven stories_ doesn't get the wrong impression it's finished - the project is not even a beta, not even alpha I'd say - but pre-alpha.

I moved the text box to the right of the 3D view. I clarified the text and made it yellow. Also, I added a link to this blog in the bottom, besides statement "Want to know more?", a little nod to the movie-movie "Starship Troopers".
Now the currently playing music is displayed over the 3D window.
It's now possible to play three different tracks by clicking the blue cubes.
This is a screenshot of interwoven stories as of 1st of August, 2012. Latest change is the fog, which is most visible on the far parts. The fog makes the geometry fade into the background color (the sky).
