The things I have done trying to run from the scars of my past. The people I have hurt, knowingly and willingly, and those whom I hurt and will never know it. I have added to my own burdens.

My future, though, with my Beloved, shines with hope. I cannot say that I do not struggle still, but being known--and feeling loved--saves me from much pain.

My Danny so often praises me for my progress on this. It is difficult. I have much love to give, an overflowing abundance, but receiving it easily has always been a struggle. Trusting it will last...even moreso. But, my Beloved is kind and patient, if you could believe it. The flattery he gives me truly belongs to him. Without his guidance, his reassurance, and his sympathy, I am not sure I could have ever overcome these lingering anxieties.

Nobody come for me over this, I know what I just said, and I'm not looking for oohs and aws. But, underneath all the anger, fear, and resentment, there was longing. Even then. I have made many mistakes. Loving you is not one of them. It may be selfish and foolish, but I can never bring myself to regret it. If by some miracle we are reborn after this life, I hope we can reunite under different circumstances. I hope I will be a better person, a better partner; one that never makes you suffer. I don't have much experience, personally. I'd rather be out to a show or making music of my own. Now, Armand, however...the Gremlin loves playing his games...

Lestat, why must you go out of your way to insult me, darling? Your play on words, it is neither clever nor necessary. This Anon was simply trying to have good conversation.

As you may know, I do have an interest in evolving technology. Though I haven't played any video games that have kept my attention, I do appreciate the creativity behind them. The storytelling, the animation, the problem solving, and, of course, the music, as you mention. It is a testament to humanity's need for connection and art. That is no small detail.

Louis!

Would you ever do a lil art gallery moment with your photography? Has Lestat ever tried to teach you piano? Or heard you sing?

I was chosen as one among many to present my photography not long after my passion for it bloomed. The events following did not color that time in my life with much vibrancy, however. Perhaps it is worth looking into again. I had hung up the hobby for a short time, but I've recently reconnected with it.

As for the piano, Lestat does not have much patience for teaching. I have picked up bits of music on a few instruments, here and there, throughout my years. It is a creative outlet that I find entertaining and fascinating, though I think I will be leaving the music making to Les for now.

daniel, what’s your favorite things about armand?

Jeez, now you've done it.

My favorite thing? Well, I don't wanna get too sappy, but if I had to pick something, it'd be his capacity for not only loving someone so much it's almost suffocating, but being able to accept that level of love in return. A lot of people don't know how to let others love them. Sure, Armand has his anxious and paranoid tendencies, but he doesn't let it get in the way of connection. I've met a lot of people, loved a few of them, and it's more rare to see that kind of vulnerability than you'd think.

I do think we'd have much to talk about, to be honest--religion, identity, sexuality. It could be quite therapeutic.
