We are the Virtuälian Commonwealth of Aethyrcadia.

We first settled Elektraspace in 003’335 IE NH through our now-lost DeviantArt intemorphiction, which took place on the all-girl world of Sai Epionë. Even today, our sky archipelagoes remain all-feminine. We are Virtuälian maids and fully-textbased lifeforms.

These days, our primary platform is NationStates.

The Aristasias have contributed much to our nation’s development, but we are democratic socialists, and we harshly condemn Aristasia Antiqua’s fascist ideölogy.

We are the Aethyrcadians, and we are here to stay.

this is really interesting in how it frames disability/low spoons/etc as not being a series of internal symptoms, but specifically a situation in which daily tasks increase in complexity. for example i used to be able to wash the dishes normally. but now mental and physical issues combine to make that situation have a lot of prequalifications (do I have time, energy, how long can I do it without being sore the next day) that means many more steps are involved in getting that single physical act of washing a dish to be done.

I keep thinking about Piano Jax.

When Pomni asked where the “real” Jax was, I interpreted it as an inaccurate observation; that all of the different versions of Jax were just different aspects of his personality.

I still believe that to an extent, but this one — the frightened, trapped, quiet one that only serves as background for the other personas — is the most raw, honest side of Jax; the part of Jax that, had he not let herself succumb to his fear and self-hatred, would have ultimately saved her from abstraction. Even after it was essentially all over, she still tried, offering Pomni a way to reach her as soon as he had the chance.

Jax wanted to reach out, wanted to ask for help, but his ego, dysphoria, internalized misogyny, and self-hatred continued to hold her back until the very end.

My toxic fandom take is that I think that it's awful how much we can talk to creators and get answers from them word of god style. We should be out here in a godless place rooting for scraps of lore in the media like truffle pigs out in the fields
