Me and my cousin have made a roleplay group which takes place in high school. The school is ruled by the student council members! We are currently low in members but I feel like this group will grow like wildfire! Shisui said he wanted to be like an older brother to Itachi & for him to gain perspective. Interesting how itachi evolved from this with his relationship with Sasauke.

Shisui fought the government alongside each other. Facing ANBU & doing missions together. Most likely Itachi saw that this was a TRADITIONAL way of doing things.

So Itachi took a very big risk & took a bet on Sasuke. The bet was he would create an illusion that planted hate in sasuke’s life & eventually sasuke would find a love strong enough to cut down a metaphorical tree of hate & anger rooted into program.

Shisui loved Itachi a lot. But even Itachi saw that love could be taken advantage of or even taken for granted. So in turn he made love seemingly impossible or useless but in the end the only answer.
