You know what I love about this kiss? I love that it’s not total make out session. No, it’s soft and small, but it means so much. It’s their first kiss (Well, as a couple), and they know they have a lifetime ahead of them for more kisses and love. For right now, kissing her softly and holding her tightly means more to the Human Doctor than anything else. Because he finally has Rose, the woman who saved him from himself and brought light into his life again. And the Doctor knows that. He can see it’s not just a kiss, it’s everything to them, and that’s why it hurts him because he couldn’t give that to her in the way he wanted to all those years. He gave himself so she could be happy, his Rose.
