The JC Penny dress code specifically prohibits shorts.  Some jobs allow them, but this is not one of them. She was told she could go home and change and come back.  She chose to quit. Must be nice to not need money like that.

I don’t see the problem….JC Penney’s sell bras too, does that mean you should show up to work in just a bra? I’ve worked at JCP, you can’t even wear shorts period.
