Swim Lesson W/Claire
Had my first swim lesson with Claire this morning. Went well and learned a few things. I am hoping in the next 5 weeks these work outs will help me become a more efficient swimmer. Those kick drills are a killer
Month 3
So another monthly update. I’m down about 42 lbs since the holidays. Was able to go into Macy’s and pick out some new pants. So much easier than online shopping. Can’t wait till I fit into 2xl so I can try everything on.
Swimming
Biggest change has to be me improving my swim stroke. I guess was doing it incorrectly and not rotating my body. Thanks YouTube lol. I have noticed my times going down and hoping to hit a 32 min mile before Alcatraz. Have my first swim work out with Claire on Friday.
Hockey
Skating has significantly improved. Still have a few months to go before I’m back. Scored my first goal in close to a year out in Fremont. Was kinda embarrassed when I found out how long it’s been. Excited for the Tahoe tournament coming up
Go that new hotness. I am not looking forward to this

Another notch
Nothing excites me more than moving down a big notch on the scale. Still have about 5 notches to go though but will takes this small victory.

Hit a new mile record on the swimming. New stroke has been paying off and I see my self get into the mid to low 30s in a month or so.

In the coming weeks/months I know I’ll see a lot of fitblrs freaking out because they’ve gained 1 pound after weighing themselves at the end of every week. Please remember:
You’re stressing yourself out
You can flux between 5-9 pounds in a day son
It can be muscle
bloating
water weight
time of day
the moon in the seventh house and Jupiter aligns with Mars
you eated half a pizza and had some beers
Just stop. Ok? It’s ok. You’re still making progress. You’re trying. What you don’t want to do is over hype a number that you’re expecting to be at, get let down, and then end up quitting. Don’t do that.
(BTW no shame to those who want to weigh in every week if that motivates them, it’s all good.)
First goal lol since....
June 6, 2017. How embarrassing that I had fallen so far. I know it was only preseason but hopefully it’s a sign of things to come.
