Why is this John Travolta
This page really drove home how very fish out of water I was when I interacted with anyone outside the cult. Had no clue.
That's a roasted marshmallow peep
Surely I'm not the only person who jumped out of their chair and cheered a little weepily at this scene in The Dragon Prince.
The supraorbital gland has enabled penguins' survival in saltwater environments due to its water-filtering capability. The gland is located just above the eyes and surrounds a capillary bed in the head. This capillary bed constantly strains out the salt in the saltwater that a penguin takes in.
Amazing right?
Penguins! Not only cute but also the critter you need with you in your lifeboat, as you sail away from the sinking ship that you barely escaped from and then spend the next two to four weeks alone and adrift. But with your lifesaving personal penguin friend!
Chilling makes you a better cookie.
Now read that again. And this time, YOU are the cookie.
True wisdom from the missus.
Great way to check if your friends or family have a soul. During this scene, do they get quiet and practically reverent, and maybe tear up or sigh? If so, they have a lovely soul. Keep them nearby.

People can be so good
Pop psychology abounds on social media. This is an example of garbage that people think sounds right, but has no real scientific basis. Beware of pop psychology.
Just breathe it out. Let go of the fears and voices. Breathe in only air and emptiness. Breathe out more of the noise. Breathe in. Out.
Focus on breathing. Set a timer for five minutes and do this.
You'll be amazed at how good you feel when the timer goes off. Do this enough, and you'll learn to let go of even deeper, damaging stuff you've been clinging to.
Breathe.
I like Comic Sans. Tell me why I shouldn't.
Well, this is adorable.
Mr. Kitty approves of your happiness and encourages ongoing choices that increase it.
If you're not willing to do this for your BFF, are you BFF material?
I highly recommend that everyone (especially nd people who struggle w self esteem) have a collection of “proof people don’t hate me” and go look at it whenever they’re sad. I’ve compiled report card comments, stuff my friends say, all sorts of things that made me feel cared about and appreciated. And anytime I get that feeling that I’m worthless and unloved, I go through that file folder and feel better.
Good idea
There was a time when people just went ahead and named their sons Nigel.
Weird, right?
These people are crazy but perfect crazy. 🤩😎
I love this stuff!
