Cas said he couldn't use it; in the trash it goes. Dean did what Cas thought was best. Because Dean values Castiel OVER Sam. 

If they bring it back, it will be going back on canon. Canon that Dean threw it out because Cas said it was worthless. Garbage. This would be an example of TPTB caving to INCEST fan demands.

Besides, Jensen said he doesn't want it to come back. He said he hates it. It's heavy and chipped his teeth once.

Even at Comic Con, Jensen said Cas gets his own room in the Batcave - which is DEAN'S home. 

Not even Sam has a room. That shows you just how much more Castiel means to Dean than Sam does.

Does anyone else wonder why we are force fed a J2 friendship when it’s clearly not the case? Here are the facts: Working well together and being friendly on set does NOT equal being beat friends. Jensen and Jared do not spend time together outside of the set. Even in Vancouver Jared and Jensen don’t socialize together. Jared never even goes to the wrap parties when Jensen is there. And during hiatus, they never hang out like “best friends" would and should. But Jensen hangs with Chris and Misha and Mikey and Gino all the time. Jared doesn’t even acknowledge Jensen or Misha off set. Even when he's in LA, you never see Jared with Jensen. Ever. They don't even attend each other's birthday parties. Their wives are not friends. They didn’t even attend each others weddings. Misha didn’t attend Jared’s wedding but went to Jensen’s further proving cockles is a real friendship. J2 were groomsmen but every picture shows them bored as if it were an obligation. You are all sheep.

I don’t understand how anyone can possibly say that Castiel did anything for Sam because he loves Sam.

Everything Cas ever did for Sam was FOR DEAN. Because Castiel knew Dean wanted it.

Cas can’t go from calling Sam and abomination and using Sam’s year soulless to make Sam is perfect little soldier to loving Sam. Because actions speak louder than words. Cas breaking Sam’s wall but not hurting Dean says more than “Sam Winchester is my friend” ever will. Cas being conditioned to kill Dean but not Sam because Cas would have no problem killing Sam if necessary says more than anything Castiel has ever said to or about Sam ever can.

I think people will inject anything into canon to make your ship real since the only ship that stands a chance is destiel and that pisses some off.

But nothing will change that Castiel is DEAN’S and will never be Sam’s. Castiel doesn’t even talk to Sam.

Cas saves Sam in Two Minutes to Midnight. Dean isn’t even there. He just saves him cuz Sam is his friend and Castiel isn’t a complete asshole.

Cas tries to hug Sam after he gets his soul back in Like a Virgin. He is happy he’s in one piece because Sam is his friend. He later reveals he was the one to bring Sam back from Hell in the first place. He didn’t do this to please Dean. He did this because Sam is his friend. If he wanted to please Dean don’t you think he’d have dumped Sam off on Dean’s doorstep personally, like a wrapped present or some shit? Yeah, I thought so too.

Sam calls Cas in S7 and offers to help and Cas answers. He doesn’t seek out Dean. He seeks out Sam, who had extended the olive branch of friendship. Sam. Not Dean.

Castiel takes Sam’s craziness into himself, not to please Dean but because he wants to make it up to Sam. He even says so right before he does it!

Cas and Sam are friends and family in their own right, they don’t exist as some sort of peripheral solar system to Dean’s sun. Come on, people!

WHAT PARTS OF CASTIEL DOES THIS FOR DEAN DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?

Castiel might have done these things for Sam - in Sam’s name. But ask yourself WHY. 

It all comes down to motivation, not action.

Castiel did these things for Sam or in Sam’s name because HE KNEW DEAN WOULD WANT IT.

Castiel raised Sam from hell because he knew Dean would be miserable without Sam. 

Castiel stood up to Lucifer to defend Sam BECAUSE CASTIEL KNEW THAT DEAN NEEDED SAM TO FEEL IMPORTANT. 

Castiel took Sam’s crazy from his mind because Dean asked him to fix Sam. 

Everything WAS. FOR. DEAN. Sam just reaped the benefit because Sam is always fucking up and needs Dean or Cas to fix his mistakes. He never learns.

Okay, so Cas nabbed Sam from Hell because he knew Dean with be miserable? Castiel didn’t take up for Sam against Lucifer because that’s what Dean wanted him to do. Hell, at that point, Cas didn’t even really have fucking FAITH in Dean.

And Sam isn’t the only one who keeps fucking up, alright? Dean and Cas have their own track record of fuckery to contend with Sam’s. Hell, most of the characters in the entire show keep fucking up at every turn because they’re human.

You seem to be forgetting the times Castiel looked in on Dean. The more notable scene was when Cas was watching Dean rake leaves. Castiel pulled Sam out, as he later said, and trusted he'd go to Dean. Sam did. But Castiel messed up. He made a mistake and didn't want to admit that mistake. So instead he kind of used Sam's soullessness to be a walking, talking ruthless killing machine to his advantage. Such love. 

AND ACTUALLY HONEY. Yes, Castiel did that for Dean. Castiel was REPENTING his sin of betraying Dean by hurting Sam. How don't you understand that? It's so fucking simple a retarded child could understand it. Castiel did that one thing because Dean asked him if he could fix it and Castiel readily agreed because he saw how adamant Dean was about it. Simple as that. And in Purgatory, none of that had to do with Dean OR Sam. That's where he started in on himself. But before, it was purely Castiel saving Sam FOR Dean's sake. Castiel didn't start on his self-reflection until Purgatory and even then the writers turned that into Dean/Cas so your argument about Castiel's perceived agency is invalid. Castiel's purpose is Dean.

And yes. The entire arc where Castiel was defending Sam spawned from Dean trying to turn Castiel into Sam 2.0. Remember when Dean washed his hands of Sam and turned to Cas? Yeah. That.

And please. I beg you. Show me one solitary instance where Dean fucked up. Show me one thing Dean has EVER done wrong and i will stop. But you cannot. And you goddamn know it. Dean is never wrong. He does not fuck up. He is better than Sam. And, in many ways, better than Castiel.
