5. languages spoken: Bulgarian and English, then there are some left over Spanish and Russian which I haven’t used in years.

6. nationality: Bulgarian.

7. favorite season: Spring and Fall.

8. favorite flower: I love flowers in general, but the first one that always comes to mind is roses, so I guess roses?

9. favorite scent: Uuuh, lavender? Generally I don’t like heavy scents. So I guess something citrucy with a hint of a flowery note if that makes sense? 

10. favorite color:  Pretty much all of them, except maybe pink, kinda depends on the shade.

11. favorite animal: Cats, big and small but also dogs, wolves, foxes and a lot more.

12. favorite fictional characters: Well, lots naturally, but to name a few Shikamaru and Gaara from Naruto, Kenpachi from Bleach, Sterek from TW, McDann from H50, etc.

13. coffee, tea, or hot chocolate: Hands down coffee, but I do enjoy tea and hot chocolate, so really, it depends on the time of day.

14. average sleep: Lately? 5-6, sometimes 7, but mostly 6...

15. dog or cat person: In my heart of hearts, definitely cat person, though I’m also a dog person.

16. numbers of blankets you sleep with: Usually 1, but if it’s very cold, then 2 with my fluffy, oversized pjs.

17. dream trip: Japan or South Korea even though I’d love to travel to so, so many other places.

18. blog established: 10/9 years ago I think?

19. followers: 209, who knows why since I’m basically not here but I’m pretty active on twitter.

20. random fact: BTS took over my life almost 2(?) years ago and they’ve been one of the best things to happen to me. I can rely on them at any given moment, especially when I need comfort. They’re truly amazing and I’m honored to be following their journey 💜

Day Three: Fairytales/Lore

The role that Derek played was guardian to the underworld, a place that chilled one to the bone at the simple thought of it. For the most part, he lived there alone with the souls of those that had passed to keep him company. The work was always busy and always thankless, colder than the ground one was buried in.

He longed for the warmth of the sun, for springtime when the flowers bloomed. Was his role a mistake? He’d always wondered if he was cursed and if this was how things would always be.

Stiles grew bored of the spring, of the flowers, of the pollen that would cover everything in a yellow dust. He’d tired of the monotony of the same old pattern; pollinate, bloom, harvest. Over and over again it had turned and turned. What truly fascinated him was when the flowers would wither and petals would fall from their stems.

He had a morbid fascination with death, with the destruction of everything so perfect. Perhaps that was what had drawn him to the gateway in the first place.

A different take on the Persephone and Hades legend where Derek and Stiles crave what the other has.

sterek week 2016 - day 3: fairytales/folklore

In a post-apocalyptic world not so far away, where wolves and humans are at war and no place is safe, Stiles Stilinski, orphan and the last emissary of Beacon Hills, lives as a ward to the self-proclaimed king, Gerard Argent.

From a very young age Stiles, such a priced possession as he was, has been guarded and sheltered from every and anything that could by chance do him harm and the woods that dragged on for miles before the castle were the most forbidden of it all.

“The woods are a dangerous place, Stiles,” the King had always said and Stiles, despite his insatiable curiosity, had always listened.

That is until the day he overhears talks of his long-dead father, John Stilinski, and how very much alive he is after all, living deep within the woods in a cottage, surrounded by menacing trees and big, bad wolves with paws so large and teeth so big they could swallow a man whole.

That night, Stiles sets out on a journey through the woods in search of his father, with only his mother’s red cape as a shield and a strange wolf that seems to guard him and his life every step of the way and doesn’t seem monstrous at all.

Halloween also known as All Hallow’s Eve is widely known for its trick-or-treating and pumpkin carving. However, there’s a darker, more powerful meaning to this day. Marking the last day of harvest, Halloween is the day of the year where the line that separates the world of the living and the world of the dead is at its thinnest. For centuries, druids have taken advantage of this situation to communicate with their dead loved ones or summon unearthly energies to perform their spells. And the bravest dare to resurrect them. After Stiles finds a spell that could potential change their lives forever, he contacts Derek - who returns to Beacon Hills to help him in every step of the way. Together, with the help of their friends, they bring back to life the innocent causalities of a war they never chose - Erica, Boyd and Allison.
