  The Weeklings is an animated comedy series starring the Days of the Week! Set in a surreal world in which anything can happen, the series chronicles the everyday adventures of Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Each character has the personality of how each day feels.

Outside the main cast, the show is filled with characters that are all inspired Holidays. We want to use Holidays to help combat the lack of Diverse Representation in media today. Every group has dope holidays that we can feature as characters in the show! By making well rounded, diverse characters (and casting accordingly) we hope to introduce audiences to new types of people!

Got Tired of not seeing very many Strong Black Female Leads in Animation. Instead of complaining I decided to be proactive and make one!

It’s been fun working on this project wanna give a shoutout to the homies @ Flydra Creative and of course to Beyonce in the Survivor Video for inspiring it all.

We’ve been developing my senior film into a full series. We’ve pitched it around...and... All I will say is We’ve been Very Busy!

 Anyway, we are screening the original film on Saturday @ 1:30! I’ll be down there as well, slappin high fives and passing out Free T-shirts!

A simple Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich. 

A lunch time stable for people all over the world!

WHY ARE THEY LOWKEY SO HARD TO MAKE.

Messed up the PB and J ratio on my sandwich this afternoon. Waaay to much PB not enough J. “You are better than this, Jabril.” I thought to myself as I swallowed my first bite. 

Let me give you the play by play.

I’m not a flashy guy. I like my PB+Js with a 55 to 45 ratio. What i didnt take into account is the new bread type was slightly drier than the normal bread I use, more jelly wouldve helped. ( I’m thinking a 49.5 to 50.5 ratio would’ve helped balance things out). But here is where I messed up, I USED CRUNCHY PEANUT BUTTER! Big Mistake. I dont normally work with Crunchy PB (#teamcreamyPB) so the medium is new to me. I assumed it would be the same…. Next time I know, you gotta add more jelly to Crunchy PB for Maximum Satisfaction (I would say 47.25 to 52.75 is where the magic really happens)

This is a lesson in getting too comfortable. You cant make a good PB+J if you are just going through the motions. Be present in all things you do. I urge everyone to notice the different Breads of Life. Notice the Different Peanut Butters of your Day. It’s the only way to have a great Lunch…………………..Also Crunchy Peanut Butter is the worst.
