I think they're the ones being stupid, if they don't care about you.

Jace was taken by surprise, pulling back for a moment because of it and mumbling out a greeting before attaching his lips to hers again for a moment.

Oh, that must have sucked. Is he doing any better? I can’t really relate. My parents don’t even talk to me that much. They’re too focused on each other. So, I wouldn’t even know if something happened to them. 

Yeah, for now anyway. He doesn't talk to me much either, I just got the call because I'm his emergency contact.

It's just my dad.. he was in the hospital for alcohol poisoning so I had to go home and deal with that because I'm all he has and vice versa, y'know?
