he had been standing peacefully by his own locker, minding his own business until one guy with his âsquadâ came up to him. asking him about his homework which he had forced elijah to make. once elijah told the guy that he didnât had time to finish it by today because he had shit himself to do; he punched elijah against the lockers as they walked off afterwards. the boy sighed out loud and turned around to his own locker. ashamedly trying to ignore the looks of people. he could feel their eyes burning into his back. his cheeks turning slightly red. if only he could just fit into his locker, he wouldâve locked himself into it.Â
Jace had met Elijah before he came to Beverly Hills and before he joined his fatherâs team. They worked many shifts together at the movie theatre and Elijah often covered for him whenever he came in late. It took a lot for Jace to trust someone but he had some sort of respect for the guy which is why it took all the strength he had not to throw a line straight to the nose of the asshole jumping on Elijah. He could feel his knuckles aching for it, too. He really hated seeing people abuse their power, and he hated people who thought it was alright to use violence on others like that. He knew a thing or two about it too, so instead of making a scene right there, he memorized the faces of the perpetrators instead. He tried to keep on locking his door as if nothing had happened, but he turned to Elijah next to him. âWho the fuck was that?â He asked instead, not wanting to call any more attention to his friend, leaning against the locker next to his. âYou know, I may not be too tall but we couldâve definitely taken that guy between the two of us. Just saying...â True, it wouldâve probably get him in detention faster than it would Elijah but at least it wouldâve been worth it.Â
