Pride Month Moodboard
Requested? Nope, just a little something to celebrate pride month 🌈
Author's Note: HAPPY PRIDE MONTH GUYS!! To all my fellow lgbtqia+ fellas, both who already came out and didn't, to those still figuring out their identity or already figured out everything! Remember, you are all so loved and so valid. <3
Friendly reminder:
I am the biggest padded agere advocate, but that one artist I see all over agere tumblr fully supports fetishes/kinks and has zero issues with them interacting with them
I seriously don’t understand how they have a platform, I won’t name them for the sake of “I don’t want to be attacked abt this again”
Anyways
Some doodles of Mangle ageresona

a note on "going nonverbal"
nonverbal refers to a permanent state of not talking. it means months, years, decades of no talking.
not being able to talk for a few minutes to hours at a time is not nonverbal. i don't want anyone to feel dismissed by saying this. not being able to talk is distressing. it is frustrating and scary. if not being able to talk for short periods is distressing, imagine how nonverbal people feel 24/7.
to quote one of my favorite movies "you keep using that word. i do not think it means what you think it means," the princess bride (1987).
when nonverbal people try to talk about their experiences, it is flooded with people talking about 'going nonverbal'. our voices get drowned out in our own community. it feels incredibly isolating and makes it really hard for us to be listened to or even find others who are nonverbal.
also, we have been saying this for YEARS. but every time we bring it up, y'all act like this is a new concept. that just tells me you have not meaningfully interacted with the nonverbal community, or the MSN/HSN community. it is not new, y'all just don't listen.
what to say instead of "going nonverbal". speech loss / losing speech / speech loss episode. vocal rest. verbal shutdown / vocal shutdown. words are offline. verbal loss. PS - vocal rest is GREAT if you don't want to mention why you can't speak, or have to mask. musicians say they are on vocal rest all the time to protect their voice before performing.
"But Chrome! that doesn't sound as serious as "going nonverbal!" people won't take you seriously either way, sorry. i have had periods of my life where i can talk sometimes and periods where i can't ever. they aren't going to take you seriously if you use our language because they don't take you seriously at all. because of the ableism.
"my therapist / SLP / doctor says 'going nonverbal, though -" that doesn't mean it's ok. professionals don't always listen to the people they are attempting to serve. they should, but they don't. because of the ableism. and racism, sexism, etc.
the autism community already has a problem with driving out higher support needs autistics, nonverbal autistics and especially autistic people of Color. you can be part of the solution. you can support marginalized autistic voices and make your community safer and more inclusive. but first you have to listen.
thank you for listening. i hope something good happens to you today!
with love, chrome.
Five Days into Recovery Safe Foods Stimboard
🦷 - 🍜🍚🍜 - 🍜🍚🍜 - 🍜🍚🍜 - 🦷
I missed flavor so much… I can have warm foods now, going those few days without real food was kinda miserable, but I made it. You start small around day 3 and after that you get more variety. It’s still a very limited selection, but it’s so much better than day 1. Popsicles and jello is nice, but I got sick of it quickly. Especially because it wasn’t filling. I’m glad to just have something normal. I should be fully back to normal in 2 weeks.

you have to be kinder to people with memory issues.
you have to be kinder to people who are slow processors.
you have to be kinder to people who don't understand your jokes.
you have to be kinder to people who forget important dates.
you have to be kinder to people with cognitive decline.
you have to be kinder to people who were always this way, too.
you have to be kind. you have to be kind.

Rant About AgeRe Hate
Warnings: Brief mentions of ageplay + self harm Also I'm really tired so I'm sorry if this doesn't make sense but it's been on my mind lately. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Random rant but to me the age regression hate feels kind of forced in a way. Maybe it's the autism but I generally don't understand the whole issue people have with it. Obviously ageplay is an issue, but even when explaining that that's not what it is people still don't get it and think it's like the grossest thing ever. I remember being 13 and stumbling onto little content for the first time and my first thought was "Huh? Oh that's kinda interesting what's this about?" Like it did confuse me at first but it also genuinely intrigued me and it wasn't hard to grasp the concept of "Oh okay people are reclaiming their childhood or dealing with stress yeah that makes sense and it's better than hurting yourself." And I guess I just don't understand how people just can't understand such a simple concept. I mean, yeah it's not a typical thing you see everyday obviously, but it also isn't hurting anyone. All the hate really is just because people say it's ageplay and NSFW and a kink which is not true at all but for some reason people refuse to just learn basic psychology. TLDR: AgeRe hate feels like ragebait.
agere moodboard for our nezuko fictive!
I found a cute little drawing website! Its pretty fun to draw on
I wasn’t going to post this, but then remembered messy ideas are better than unfinished ones.
Autistic meltdown, sending my problems to my favorite media character to cope with life.
I don’t know if this would trigger someone, let me know if that’s the case.

Also idk if it’s a hot take or not, but incontinence care should be more accessible, for anyone regardless of age, not just diapers or pads but other stuff like catheters or adapted clothing
Being a padded regressor made me realize this, cuz, we barely have options on where to buy good quality diapers, diapers that are cute, that feel like it matches our style! And disabled people also feel that way!
Ofc we (regressors) may not have the same reasons (or have the same disability ourselves) but it makes you be more empathetic and aware of it, yk?
There’s still a lot of stigma about incontinence care, and, if you are a regressor you should at least be respectful about this topic (imo)
