Luo - Dissolver
Directed and produced by Jack Bonnington
Created for the Brighton band Luo for the event Soundscreen
Them The Sky - Fall
Directed and produced by Jack Bonnington
As part of the Brighton event, SoundScreen, I produced this animated video to accompany a performance of the song by Them The Sky.
I used a combination or hand-drawn, flash and 3d computer animation to produce maximum impact in a very short turnaround (considering the ambitious nature of the video).
Xmas Card 2012 - Kanoti
Roles - 2d Animator, 3d Animator, Compositor
A playful xmas card that I helped create while working at the digital agency Kanoti. Based around the idea of a digital zoetrope with a festive twist.
Beat a Maxx- Animaxx
Produced by Jack Bonnington
The brief for this project was to create a cgi MC/ compere for Beat A Maxx's live show.
PlanIt Blue - The Blue Cross
Directed and Produced by Jack Bonnington
Additional animation by Robin Brindle
An internal comms piece commissioned by the Blue Cross explaining their new project management process, PlanIt Blue. Without VO to explain the PlanIt blue methodology it was essential the film conveyed the meaning and definitions of various roles. This took extensive boarding to get from the initial brief to a finished and coherent script. Another aspect of working without VO was a reliance on good, clear character animation to convey the story. This was a pleasure to do but made for a tight turnaround in just 6 weeks.
Still No Money for Guns by High Rankin
Directed and Produced by Jack Bonnington
A devious toddler with aspirations for money, guns and pimping goes on a rampage supported by his barbie doll hoes
Lonely by The Cruzaders
Directed and Produced by Jack Bonnington
Irresistable by Nervo
Directed by Rob Wicksteed
Roles; Prop and Environment modelling, Background Character designs and texturing, Background Character animation
For this project I was responsible for modelling the famous buildings (with a Nervo twist), including the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, Big Ben and the Eiffel Tower. I also assisted with some of the background buildings and props. The second role I had was to assist with the background characters, firstly by modifying and texturing them, and then with the animation.

Aviva Rollover Ad
Produced by Asylum Films
Roles; Stop Motion Animator, Model Builder, Animation planning
The plan for this animation was to create a series of transforming animated scenes rendered in plasticine. I was responsible for the preproduction planning of the morphs between each scene. Each frame of the morphing stages was individually sculpted and then swapped out to created the illusion. Once planned and prepared the final animation was shot from beginning to end in one shoot.

Mr Sketchy by Will and The People
Directed by Jack Bonnington and Ryan Herbert
In the video we follow Mr Sketchy, a discarded personality trait, as he comes to terms with his abandonment and the outside world at large. Along the way he meets other emotional outcasts but struggles to find solace.
Heroes of the UAE, WWF
Produced by Asylum Films
Roles; Stop motion animator, Character design of lead character, 2d animation
I was part of a small team of animators working on the project. It was an interesting mix of stop motion animation and 2d cut outs for the crowd scenes. There were some interesting shots, particularly memorable was the hero character building himself out of paper and the epic Brazil shot, which was a 21hr shoot!

Museums at Night 2010
Produced by Jack Bonnington and Matthew Campbell
This short animation was our entry for Culture24's competition to advertise their events; Museums at Night 2010. This was a good opportunity to work on a 'clean' aesthetic approach. We used a mixture of 3d and 2d software to create the character and the environments.
Run With the Wolves - The Prodigy
Directed by Jack Bonnington and Ryan Herbert
This video was produced as our entry to the dailymotion competition to make a music video for the Prodigy. We really loved the track and wanted to make something dark and eerie. Possessed scarecrows in high cornfields came to mind, followed naturally by a giant combine-harvester to ward them off. Carnage ensues!
