New clothes!

My squid dolls now feature their school uniform and PE jacket. Bitty Shadow also got a new sundress. These always take a lot more work than I think they will to make.

Bakugou being reincarnated as a Pearl is definitely a fun idea, I'd love to read a fic about Bakugou being reincarnated as an Orange Diamond made from Pink Diamond's harvested [fake] Shards to be her replacement. [Or if not Pink's Shards, then however you decide Diamond's are made.]

In that scenario it'd be an interesting twist if Yellow Diamond was the one to create Bakugou behind the other Diamond's back as a way to fix the Empire and make the other two move on, instead of White creating the new Diamond like in most other SU Self-inserts, crossover reincarnates, or new Diamond fics I've read. I think Yellow making a new Diamond to take Pink's empty spot that will (in her mind) make the Diamonds get back to work would be interesting to read.

While Pink was Blue's baby, "Orange" would definitely be Yellow's baby. I just feel like Yellow and Bakugou would bond really well, once Bakugou gets his shit together. No way he wouldn't loss his mind and maybe run away for awhile there until he realizes, "Oh shit, I wasn't kidnapped by cultist psychopaths (again) and have actually been reincarnated as some kind of alien rock prince... well fuck."

[Or maybe Izuku could reincarnate as a Green Diamond? He and Yellow would get along just as well as Yellow and Bakugou would, if for different reasons. You decide.]

Thank you for the suggestion! Unfortunately I’m not very interested in bakugo so I’m not sure if I’ll read it.

I don’t usually do isekai but more so entirely different stories. So Midoriya would be like Steven in that he inherited his gem from All might. Shoto would be like the rutile twins except perfectly merged.

And bakugo always seemed to fill jaspers role to me. Born perfect in every way with extreme anger issues.

I did create an idea for tokoyami and dark shadow as crystal gems too. They would fill a similar role as garnet being two gems fused together constantly.

Dark shadow is basically an experimental gem that is designed to be able to work deep in darkness without needing light to manifest their form. So the gem itself has all the power they need to manifest theoretically but they ended up being unstable and uncontrollable. Tokoyami (an obsidian or something idk) stays fused with them to help them keep their body and mind stable.

Dark shadows crystal is not exposed like most gems because it doesn’t need light. Tokoyami’s is on his forehead. They also wear human clothes (specifically a cape) to block out more light. The large pair of arms can transform into wings and they can make a sword and shield.

To be honest, Tokoyami has no basis to be making a call as to whether Hawks did the right thing or not by killing Twice. He wasn’t there and he hasn’t heard Hawks’ side of the story to even judge that for himself.

The bigger problem here is that Tokoyami is associating righteousness and the deserving of saving. Tokoyami’s logic is that Hawks should live because he is good and right rather than Hawks should live because he is a person in danger and Tokoyami’s mentor regardless of his guilt. It would have been an improvement if Tokoyami was given the space to untangle these concepts because it would have fit nicely into the themes of Act Three.

That being said, Twice became “a good person” in Hawks’ eyes because there were friends who believed in him. To become a “good person” like Twice, developing relationships with others who believe in his potential is a start.

If you would like my two cents I’d like to add on to this.

Tokoyami is very different than most of class A in that he doesn’t see killing villains as bad. Tokoyami is surprisingly selfish and has very black and white thinking. He thinks like this: “the people who are worth saving most are the people I am close to.” He is well known for losing control over one of his friends getting hurt. Sometimes it is shown as guilt for not being able to protect them or it’s simply rage towards the villain who caused it. Either way tokoyami places more value of life on his friends than a random villain.

Of course he still believes villains CAN be redeemed but if they are hurting innocent people he will do what he has too. This is the exact same thinking as hawks. So of course in his mind he thinks hawks did the right thing, because he would do the same. He cares about hawks more than twice so he automatically believes hawks is in the right.

Tinyyami in maid dress! It took forever to make but so worth it. Dark shadow is wearing a traditional Spanish dress borrowed from another doll so I didn’t make it but had to make a lot of adjustments.
