I’ll never understand how people get mad at Sam about the Stanford memory in dark side of the moon bc not only is it something he has no control over (like he points out!) he is also so apologetic about it and is like Dean it doesn’t matter let’s just go when he realizes what the memory is. Meanwhile the reaction to it is as if he said YEAH fuck you dean I went to college also kill yourself

like even if you’re only looking at it from the perspective of how Dean felt Sam TRIED to spare Dean’s feelings bc he knew the memory would upset him and he was so clearly uncomfortable and feeling guilty about it the whole time
