It’s pouring down like the bottom fell out of the sky and the house on Paper Street’s flooded like always. The ceiling’s dripping like the damn thing’s crying and Jack’s parked herself on the musty old couch, just watching it fall. There’s a little old-timey lantern by her side, the glass keeping the moisture out so the light flickers and dances every once in a while.
There’s a faint thudding at her door and she’s up like someone built a fire under her ass. Long legs barely covered by sleeping shorts take her across the room before scooting the coffee table she put against it to the side; A door with no locks is an open door for just about anyone or anything. She’s puling the door open, hoping it’s Tyler but her eyes fall on someone else.
He’s shaking and shivering, and man the look on his face tells her he hates coming here. He looks like a little wet foal, shivering and shaking and just.. pathetic. She knows he knows that, probably. Her head cocks to the side, her face and body getting peppered with rain just like his. She’s worried faintly, but not too much. He doesnt look hurt, but she can’t really tell. Instantly, her hands are on him.
"Presto.." she’s whispering lightly, just so he can hear before she throws his arm over her shoulder and shuffles his soaking ass in. Her leg’s jerks back and slams the door shut and the sound breaks the silence in the house. She’s lowering him down on the same musty couch she was crouched on before finding a towel off to the side, spots of dry blood on it from where the boys would use it to dab their wounds. She’s taking the cleaner parts and wiping at his face.
”..Idiot." she murmurs, but there’s relief in her voice.

"Who in the Nine Realms are you?" Loki snarled.
Jack hates odd numbers. For some reason they dont sit well with her. So when he says nine realms, she frowns lightly. Never mind the fact that he snarled at her, nevermind the fear that pitted itself in her stomach. No, she's irritated over the "nine" part. The brunette stares up at the God, lazily blinking because she's almost to the point of passing out because lets face it; she can't sleep without the noise in the house.
"I'm the person people depend on. I cook their meals, I keep them safe while they're asleep. I hold the door open for them when they're nose deep in their stupid phones. I'm Jack."

He tilts his head away from the smoke, irritation sparking in his chest. The archer starts to mouth off to her, to tell her to fuck off, but then she offers the pack and he hesitates. The girl’s calm demeanor makes him rather uncomfortable, and the cigarettes seem to be a peace offering. With his brow knitted, he glances back at her with a “Huh."
Finally, he reaches out to take one of the cigarettes. “You used to gettin’ shot at?"
Her shoulder burns at the memory. Its dark, raining and her crippled ass if curled on the asphalt. One of the stupid space monkey's of Tyler's runs back for her, scooping her up like she's nothing because lets face it when the fuck did she have time to eat? Back at the house he tells Tyler she got hit, trying to be noble and bide them time. Tyler doesnt see it that way. His finger's half way in the bullet wound and twisting to make her scream and he explains to embrace it; without pain and sacrifice there'd be nothing.
She wriggled her shoulder out of her sleeve and shows him the nasty scar, a purplish black hole with little scraggly purple veins around it. She exhales the poison of her cigarette.
"First rule of Project Mayhem, you do not ask questions." she repeats to him, voice dropping just a little. "..Even if it means you die."

Clint frowned and for a long moment he let silence fall heavy between them, noting the jittery eyes, the quick inhalations, the odd speech pattern. There were a few conclusions to draw and a few major options jumping to mind on just what to do.
He’d been in a similar position before, which was why he carefully pulled out his phone to scan for an address. “Mmm, I hear ya there. Though, you know, you might want to get another perspective from someone a bit more qualified than me."
There it was, not too far away. “Why don’t you let me take ya to the urgent care. You know, just to be sure all right is all right."
His voice reminds her of an old friend, someone who use to hold her at night and punch her when she needed it. She misses the feel of a fist against her jaw, her ribs screaming when they get cracked. Her lips pulled into a frown before she's taking another hit from the cigarette before flicking it away. It sizzles when it hits the water puddle mixed with oil.
"...No." she says suddenly, and just like that its like Jack was six years old watching doctors huddle over her that night her Daddy Dearest went ape shit and hacked Mommy to a million pieces. She clears her throat.
"..Ill let you take me.. on one condition.." she says slowly, getting into his personal space because Jack has no clue what the fuck that is.
"..I want you to hit me as hard as you can."

Kasper laughs softly at her reply and shrugs, resting his shoulder beside her on the wall. “Yes, but I’m not a ghost," He grins “Yet." His brow crinkled a moment. Just ending up in Oslo, how is that possible. You can hardly get on a plane or boat and not know where you’re going.
"Wait.. You just happened to end up in Oslo? That’s one big talent you got there."
Jack doesnt remember anything. She's been awake for far too long and her eyes are getting that distant look to them. She can feel her heart slowing down, her brain becoming fuzzy. She remembers leaving the house, lighting a cigarette and walking away. Left before right, right behind left and her fingers tickling the wind that passed by. That night was hot but she was wearing her leather jacket anyway; She couldnt call it hers. It was really Tyler's. She was surprised he left it behind.
Her eyes cut towards him lazily as she leans heavily on the wall.
"I got tons."
