Emery looked at the picture he showed her, smiling. “Sadly, no weird hairstyle. What a disappointment!”
He sighed feeling defeated before he flicked through the photos to him with his most embarrassing of hairstyles. "better?" he asked

Emery looked at the picture he showed her, smiling. “Sadly, no weird hairstyle. What a disappointment!”
He sighed feeling defeated before he flicked through the photos to him with his most embarrassing of hairstyles. "better?" he asked
"Funny I understand. But creepy? Did you had lots of funny hair styles?"
"Haha what ever gave you that idea" Jax said pulling out his phone and showing Emery a picture of himself as a teenager.
"Yes! Thank you a lot. I assume I’ll have tons and tons of fun with them. It will keep you in good memory." Emery smiled, really wanting to see and hear those tapes. "You can’t whistle? Really? You should take courses to learn it. It’s funny but creepy."
"haha funny and creepy is how i would describe the boy band videos"
"I would pay to see them!" Emery chuckled, trying to contain herself and not burst out in laughter. "Oh you can not only write but also sing and play the guitar? Anything you can’t do maybe?"
"I'll leave them to you Emery in my will, trust me you will be able to hold awesome comedy nights with them" He chucked, just the thought of the dance moves in the videos made him blush. "Hmmm errr Yes!, I can't whistle"
"Are there video tapes of that? Please say yes." Emery couldn’t help but laugh slightly. "And it really didn’t work to say you have a band? I’d love a guy in a band when I was in middle school. What music did you pretend to play?"
"I'm pretty sure i have some clips floating around somewhere, music? well boy band stuff boys 2 men, westlife and stuff, how ever it did work about 2 or 3 years later when i learned to sing and play guitar,"
Emery decided to shut up instead of asking more wuestions about his pinion. “I really do imagine you and friends of yours meeting up, sitting in your room and doing nothing but listening to boybands watch their videos, read stuff about them and discuss about it. Bet it would be fun!”
"you would be correct, at one point we had our own band, never played any shows outside of the bedroom, we just figured we would get girls, turns out girls love boy bands but hate guys that they know who say they are in a band, Come on you cant blame a group of 11 year olds trying to get a little some something"
Thank you my fine friend!
Jax, obviously well and truly Trollied did what he never does, only in the secrecy of his home and in his underwear, Danced to the 90s classic Hunter was murdering.
"Go on Hunter son, you sexy Bastard!"
Emery shook her head as if she’d not understand Jax. “Why is it okay for girls but not for boys? I mean, people like all sort of things and that’s cool. If people at your school would hate you for it, it would mean they’d have to hate women wearing pants because it was originally made for men. There is no such thing as ‘ok for boys, not ok for girls’ or the other way around. Plus, statistics say that a lot of CDs sold in the 90s, including those of Backstreetboys, NSYNC, Boyzone or whatsoever were sold to males.” Noticing that she had talked that much, Emery shut up and siled at Jax. People in school had made fun of her a lot, also about knowledge she had and others didn’t so she hated to talk too long about a thing a lot.
"Haha no it's really not like that, it was more for my reputation, plus those guys would probably admit to loving that music too just we would only admit it if we were all together away from other people," He laughed
"90s boy bands? I never thought you would like this kind of music! That’s a new side to you, Jax. But I let you in on the secret that 80s and 90s music is my guilty pleasure." Emery laughed. Jackson looked like the opposite of a guy who has a collection of boy bands CDs.
Jax looked around to make sure no one was listening in, "Well a girl of your age has a licence to enjoy music like that, But I was brought up listening to classics such as Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, If the guys at school knew i loved to chill out and listen to Spice Girls and Boyzone, They would never let me live it down"
"True, they can. But they are also weird after all and I have read too many stories about weird people. But weird mostly means different as well, that’s good! Come on now, share a little guilty pleasure of yours. I did as well, it would only be fair." She said, smiling thankfully as she took the glass from him.
Jax tried to cover his embarrassment by avoiding eye contact with her and trying to act un phased which only came off as awkward. He looked back at her and tried to look as proud as he could "i has a vast collection of pristine CDs of boy bands from the 90s"
"You are one weird person!" Emery said, not entierly joking. But she wouldn’t judge him for his preferences. "I loved good ol’ fairy tales. And I still do! Also a little bit of romance … I’m way more of a romantic, dreaming little girl than I seem to be at first sight."
"come one be fair" he smiled " a lot of weird people can be the most interesting" he said handing her a glass "besides i do have my guilty pleasures but i keep those deep inside"
"They weren’t aimed for kids. The Brother’s Grimm made them softer so kids could read them though I like the originals as well. But imagine how fucked up people must have been back in the days when they shared stories like this for entertainment. I’d love to meet the person who came up with the original Sleeping beauty."
"either way i always preferred to have penny dreadful stories before i went to sleep" He said motioning for more champagne to the waiter behind Emery "I was a very fussy child and wasn't happy unless my days were surrounded with horror, But didn't see the sinister stuff in fairy tales until i was much older"
“It’s not too bad is it…” she smiled, taking the cup and wrapping both of her hands around it as she sat back in her seat. “I’ll pay you for the work you do. Heavens knows that I wouldn’t be able to do it myself.”
"Nah! not too bad just I'm sure you'd be much moew pleased if everything was working accordingly" He said taking a sip of coffee " Oh please there's no need really"
Emery laughed, shaking her head. “No, not Stephen King. The horror author that also does kids books…”
"Oh yeah" He said smiling "Well i think most children's authors have fucked up imaginations, I mean if you read all the original Brother's Grimm fairy tales, no way were they ever aimed at children"
emery-sugg:
"Yeah, it’s totally understandable. I’m scared of being stuck with doing the same thing over and over, that’s why I’m not having a job yet." Emery shrugged. She felt bad for it, somehow, not even knowing what she wanted to do. "Oh I bet they are creepy! I wouldn’t want to read his books…"
"who? Stephen king?" he asked confused "His work and be quite brutal and yes some of his non horror works can still be very dark"
"It does look lived in. I like it." she smiled, tossing the towel to the other end of the couch and pulling her knees up to her chest. "Are you still making that coffee? coffee sounds real good right now"
He starts to make them both a coffee as she sits down "This place is in pretty good condition, nothing a screw driver and some poly-filler can't fix this place will look brand new" He said handing her a cup
