To celebrate John’s birthday today, here’s a few highlights from the ‘Double Fantasy’ exhibition which I visited on my birthday coincidentally, a couple of months ago. This is currently on (and free) in Liverpool, so try and go and see it if you can. 

Yoko’s ladder and magnifying glass; ‘Ceiling Glass, 1966′ which was the exhibit where John met Yoko. “Climb up a ladder. Look at the painting on the ceiling with a magnifying glass, and find the word ‘YES’”

Yoko’s ‘Apple’, also from 1966. 

John’s corduroy jacket and Yoko’s mini skirt which they got married wearing.
