Update:

It was fun. I’m short and a bunch of tall people were taking up the rows infront so it was hard to see but I had a blast! Also, we made friends with her driver and messaged him afterwards to see what they were getting into, but he didn’t reply back.

You know the messed up thing? I’m seeing Hayley Williams tomorrow and I’m not even excited. I went through scary turbulence to get here but for some reason I just don’t care.

Great time hanging out with friends doing karaoke and eating amazing Mexican food though!

I have too many thoughts in my head right now.

I’m so stressed that I can’t sleep, but happy with like 4hrs of sleep? Tired throughout the day but just laughing at all the bad stuff that keeps happening to me. I don’t know if I’m just dramatic but it seems like a little much.

Let me tell you friends, it’s not been the best first week of 2024. Family drama (the family I actually care about!) Work (Nothing new) And personal stuff keep me up. Been thinking about Dad a lot lately. I’m not sure if his death really actually hit me when it happened. It just happened so suddenly. I didn’t cry a whole lot when it happened but I feel like everything is coming in now. Like I can’t believe it all of a sudden? That probably doesn’t make any sense.

I’m not trying to make this post a downer. I’m just venting/stressed/sad.

Have this thing with my Mom every Thursday where we take each other out to eat. Literally look forward to it everyday week! I try to find fancy or new places we’ve never been before, but it’s getting colder and it’s about to start snowing soon so figured we can start cooking at my house!

I was so happy having my Mom over! We cooked spaghetti and baked some garlic bread.

We’re currently watching The Bear. So good. She was so excited to watch it!

…I also went out tonight. I really need to stop drinking. I love my friends, great seeing them. But I just don’t know what to do with myself. I’m old. There’s no fun in the continual beer and shot. Anyways…hope everyone else is okay.
