God I can’t wait to get out of school and go to the beach, classes are going to drive me crazy I swear :/ I think I’m failing math but my wolf brain can’t do multiplication so…

i hate how people dont seem to understand that HUMANS ARE ANIMALS. its simple as. we have ALWAYS been animals, we are mammals. we have animalistic instincts, animal behavior, we are not exempt for nature's imprint.

ive left examples.

growling/snarling is our groans, grimaces, and huffs

nests/dens are the comfort of your beds and homes.

territorial behaviors, from wars to being angry that a stranger took your "spot" on the bus.

like other mammals, when our young are old enough they will want to go off and start a life of their own.

picking at your hair, nails, etc is a self grooming behavior.

when you see a squirrel or a sound startles you, and you snap your head to look.

if our chosen food isnt available, we'll pick the next best option.

herd mentality. in a similar vein, screaming when startled to alert your group.

showing off/presenting yourself better to attract a mate.

our inability to ignore a babys cry and other animals that are able to imitate that sound (cats, puppies sometimes)

zoomies. mimicking. a fear of the unknown. familiarity with what is and isnt "yours".

Now that it is almost spring where I am at, the weather and temperature matches up with that of Vancouver island, plus the fog that settles in the mornings adds to it I have already gotten way more shifts then I normally would during summer or winter.

-Species Dysphoria-

I’m going to be talking about how to deal with Oceankin dysphoria because I feel that the most

Oceankin-

I like to get a really smooth thick blanket, turn of the lights,put on wave sounds, and set my room to extremely cool, it reminds me of the waves; it makes me feel like I am one with the ocean so I will just lay there for hours. Smooth and baggy clothes this also gives into the waves part and that sort of free feeling. I also love to actually go to the ocean when my family can afford to go for vacation.

I feel with my alterhumanity I experience zoochosis more then the humans, especially with my ocean Conceptkin identity I feel trapped when I’m inside or forced to do anything (even if I love it) because I am the ocean I should be wild and not be restricted by walls and glass. The ocean calls to me, I hate being land bound…

Yes I believe I had a past life, for my sea wolf identity it is confirmed that I did; I don’t know about my harbor seal identity though I am leaning towards yes

Back when I was a sea wolf what I roughly remember was that I was bringing back food for my mate, and I heard this bang…it was a gun shot it just all went black so I feel that is the reason I HATE gun shots…

-Oceankin-

I love being ocean kin, but also it gets kinda depressing at times because I don’t live close to it…like that is a part of me it feels like a part of my soul is missing when I’m not there it also directly affects my sea wolf identity to… I miss the salty sea air I haven’t gone on vacation in years. I only have to wait 160 days until I go again, and fuck I can’t wait my family is going to have to drag me from that place at the end of the week.
