Fanfic Update !

Só I am writing about 3 fanfics on JackieShauna. One focusing on Jackie being alive and Shauna finding her out on adult timeline and the other two pn Jackie and Shauna’s individually life’s apart. The main one is taking more time and energy than I anticipated because I really don’t know how to do with this ship só I am thinking of focusing more on the Shauna and Jackie’s one because I want to publish very very soon. It would be majority one-shot style on how each one of them lived their lives without the other, Jackie trying to move on from Shauna and character study, and Shauna getting stuck on Jackie and a exploration of her feelings for Jackie and her psych. I wanted to know what you guys think because I am conflicted, I love writing them but it takes time and effort and I know I need to focus on one time to publish it.

i agree sm with your point about the tragedy of jackieshauna being them loving each other so much but that shauna could never love jackie the way jackie so needed. jackie would never be able to whole-heartedly love the person shauna eventually becomes bc of her own values. it is doomed yuri regardless of whether or not jackie passes and it's so crushing to know -- like jackieshauna's tragedy is part of what fuels my love for jackienat because at the end of the day, it's what each other deserves if they sort out their issues based on pure insecurities. ella purnell mentioned she believed jackie would have only forgiven shauna post-betrayal but only in their adult years too, whereas we see nat being the one person to put so much respect to jackie's bones and leadership role even though she had the most reason out of anyone to hate her. i think jackienat falls together naturally if given enough time no matter what. whereas unfortunately i think when given enough time, jackieshauna falls apart.

I agree so much with this. I sometimes take breaks from writing JackieShauna because it does seem that they just can’t fit, even in my fic I only see them being together at the cost and sacrifice of so much and so many people, they are doomed either way. Canon Jackie would never be okay with who Shauna become out there, that’s also the reason while it’s being so hard to write them, because even -if- they could solve the emotional barriers, the whole cannibalism and Hunt thing would never be accepted by Jackie, especially a adult one that survived in her own like mine. While JackieNat falls naturally, when I write them, even in conflict, it’s fixable, I do believe that if they had time and space to be, they would eventually come together. Both of them are naturally good and kind people, if Jackie was alive in season 2 and 3 she would have supported Nat and be repulse by Shauna. They could have give what the other needed, both of them needed care, support and acceptance, Jackie could have had her personhood - something that was denied by everyone but Nat- and Nat could have had overcome her problems if she had support - something we see Jackie doing multiples times for others character. All of this to say that, while I love JackieShauna, I found that JackieNat would have been beneficial to both and beautiful to watch. Thank you @mauevelemons I love when people interact with me, it’s really lovely and almost painfully to write long fics - what I am doing - especially when it is Yellowjackets, when there is so much. ❤️

Writing JackieShauna is heartbreaking

So, at this point, i am using this platform to share and ask for opinions for my jackieshauna fics and guys. There is no easy way to say it, but it is so devastating. The reason i love them is the tragedy, and it´s the same reason i am so sad. I love them but there is no way for them to be happy and believe me I am trying - after all it´s a fanfic - but as i have to be somewhat be accurate with the characters, it´s nearly impossible for them to just be together. There is soo much to unpack and it´s so complicated. I am also writing a jackienat - because i love them, sue me - and it pains me to say but they are so much healthier and more likely to work. Shauna canon deeply loves Jackie, but can't love her right, while Nat canon - in my head, she does- doesn´t love Jackie but could treat her so right. When i write jackienat the difference it´s shocking. While with Jackieshauna everything - absolute everything - it´s soo messy to an unbelievable degree, with jackienat, the emotional challenges are more easy to deal with, for both of them and for me. Anyway, it´s just a rant because writing jackieshauna it´s been more challenging than i anticipated, it´s Shauna so really not a surprise, not shady to her, but babygirl is beyond salvation.

Guys, I am writting a ton of fics about JackieShauna and one of them is about Jackies lives in season 3. My question is how do you think Season 3 Shauna would react knowing that Jackie is alive and was hiding because she thought they were hunting her ?

So, I am writing a fic about Jackie and Shauna where Jackie lives and is in the adult timeline and I am struggling. I really want to make jackieshauna real but I am having trouble with the whole forgiveness thing, because as Ella said, Jackie would have trouble forgiving Shauna because she would have a lot of resentment which I agree. How do you guys think Shauna need ato do to get Jackie’s forgives ? Or at least be given a chance ? Also, what I called the Callie problem, I have no idea what to do with Callie like would Shauna leave her ? Barely have contact ? In my sorry things would get extreme with Jackie (Shauna will almost lose her again) and because of that I believe Shauna would block everyone out to be with Jackie but I am unsure. What do you guys think ?

maybe I will never have it, maybe I will just have to get used to the feeling of the void in my chest. Learn how to live and navigate my life without conquer the tearing and longing in my heart. I can live without it, i do but the feeling doente go away making me and my mind not always on point. My tearing sometimes takes control over my body and my emotions becomes all I am. A crying mess, sobbing my chest out, praying for some foreign force of nature (God?) to please please please please please let me get this, let me have it or make the feeling and the need to go away just don’t make me go on feeling awful.

I have this weight in my stomach, a dull felling that won’t go away. Unfortunately I know what it is, that’s the thing about knowing, as soon that you figure what’s the matter you think “it’s easy, now I know what’s the problem I can fix it” you can’t, that’s when the tragedy when you figure the matter, the problem without solution becomes a fact and one that you will have to love with it, because that’s not fixing it, there is no way out. This gigantic missing piece in your life, the full felling that’s creeps inside your organs stays and keeps going, it downs grow and it doesn’t stop, it just stays there.
