This was not of any particular concern to it beyond the new unpredictability of the being.

It supposed it had less of a tool, now, but what it has done was all under the guise of 'Jacyn.'

The consequences were piled onto the human's back, as expected.

It was fortunate that the human it was copying had already ruined its own reputation amongst many. It made its own actions more believable.

Best to keep up the ruse and confusion.

Red ribbon around a heart, warm in its grip. Hearts were seen as 'romantic'. It seemed fitting for 'Jacyn' to be doing.

A note.

' love ya shells. dont have too much fun with cherry now. ya little rebellions just ah phase. ya know it. '

Left there for the otter to find.

Still warm.

Still fresh.

Shelly unlocks the door to her house. She had finally gotten Morgan to somewhat not hate her.

As she steps inside, she steps on something.

She looks down and instantly feels a pit form in here stomach.

She kneels down next to it, it looks like something out of an pinterest post.

With the ribbon tied neater than she thought Jacyn was capable of, and the slow drop of blood onto the carpet.

"Jacyn."

She pulls the note from the ribbon, blood stains on the paper as well.

She reads over it a few times before just sitting down against the door, tilting her head back and taking a few deep breaths.

Wait. How'd he...?

'Jacyn' crosses his arms, grinning down at her as he leans against a wall.

"Cute place, Shells. Still. Would be nicer if ya had stayed wi' me."

Stalking forward, he tugs lightly at her hair, twirling it around his fingers.

"Ya love me. Ya promised. Ya ain't runnin' off ta go try be wi' anyone else. Ya know better."

His other hand cups her face, soft and gentle.

"Ya love me, don'tcha? Say it."

She looks stunned at his sudden appearance for a second before answering.

"I can't. Not again, Jacyn."

She slowly pushes Jacyn's hand that cups her face away.

"I don't wanna play this game anymore."

She looks up at him.

"I'm in so much pain. Just let me be. Let me help Morgan."

She goes to push herself off the floor but Jacyn stops her.

"But ya love me."

It sounds insistent.

"Ya love me."

It sounds hurt.

"Ya in pain? Who hurt ya? Ya know ah neva. Ya know ah would'n. Everythin' for ya. The world burnin'."

( It is aware this is not entirely accurate. Jacyn would be extreme, and threaten to hurt the otter or himself in a way off-putting to humans. )

"Don't leave." He murmurs, pressing his cheek to her shoulder. Kissing the back of her hand. He smells like blood, faintly. Sickly sweet. "Don't leave me, Shelly. Ah need ya. Ya need me."

( But from what it has observed, romanticised versions are more favourable to humans. )

She winces at his tone.

"Do I love you? Or was I desperate?"

She doesn't push him away this time. Instead, she makes a quick change in subject.

"What you're doing to Morgan, has to stop."

She tilts her head to look at him. She ignores the smell of blood on him, it's not important at the moment. She'll ask about that later.

"You gotta leave Morgan alone."

His hands cling to her, desperation in the softness.

"Shells. Please. Ya ain't thinking right. Ya ain't thinkin'. It's me and you. Us. Always just us."

A soft gasp of air, pushed out in the mimicry of a voice box.

( Shapeshifting organs was a necessary thing, when mimicing Jacyn. It was aware that there were those with vision capable of looking within- it would hardly wish to be exposed by one seeing the lack of human organs within. )

( Finding a human with a similar skeletal structure to Jacyn was difficult. )

"Cherry- she don't love me no more. Don't care. She off- off wi' her frien. Conner. Don't- she neva cared. She been lyin' from da start ah saw it. Takin' and takin'. But ya- ya ain't desperate. Ya knew betta an' an' ah shoulda given ya the chance from the starts."

"Did it fa her. Fa her. So she'd see how much she mattered. But all she wants ta do is take mah love an' leave."

Shelly scrunches up her nose.

"Why did you suddenly start caring? After you did this?"

She lifts the sleeves, showing the scar that mocked her.

LIAR FAKER HOMEWRECKERS

So many words that haunted her every day.

"Why Jacyn?"

He tugs the sleeves back down, burying his face in her neck.

"Ya knew ah wasn't thinkin' right back then. Wasn't."

His grip grows tighter. Far tighter.

"'Course ah here. D'ya think ah an idiot? Ya think ah stupid?"

His voice lowers into a hiss.

"Ya met wi' her. Betrayed me. Traitor. Ya promised ya wouldn' leave ya wouldn' an' then ya go an' do this. Liar. Liar. Liar."

( Inane rambling is what Jacyn is known for. )

"Ah gave ya so many chances an' ya keep betrayin' em. Ya could've proven ya were tryin'."

"I'm not a liar! I'm not!"

Shelly pushes him away.

She picks up the heart, and it makes an unsettling squelch, before she pushes it to his chest.

"You can threaten me, you can hurt me, you can kill me over and over, but I draw the line with Morgan."

She pulls herself to her feet and starts to go to the kitchen and starts looking through the cupboards for the carpet cleaner.

"I want you out of my house."

( It seemed that the otter had changed the object of its obsessions. )

( To leave would be easy. But Jacyn Kaplan Brake was not the kind to turn around and leave. )

Brown eyes bore into her as 'Jacyn' stalks forward, grabbing her by the arm and yanking her towards him.

"Nah. Ya want me. Ya don't know what ya want. Ya just goin' mad."

He pushes the heart towards her mouth, insistent.

"C'mon. Don't be rude. Gifts ain't meant ta be wasted. Eat."

"Jacyn! Jacyn, stop! I don't want to eat it! It's raw! Jacyn! I can't eat it whole either!"

She tries to keep the dripping heart away but objectively fails. A muscle is forced into her mouth. The right artery.

She can't help biting down onto it to try and get Jacyn to lay off. It takes a bit of effort before she actually gets a bite off. And swallowing it quickly.

She chokes slightly, and only a few seconds after swallowing she gags. She presses an arm against the wall to support herself.

"Ya wanted this. Ya wanted this. Ya wanted love. Attention. Ah gave it ta ya an' ya throwin' it? Gave ya a heart an' ya leavin' it?"

( Victim blaming. Unlikely to be useful in this scenario, but it is what Jacyn would do. )

"Aaah. Here comes da airplane. Ya like it. Ya know ya do. Remember our first date? Ya liked it so much. Ya were so good."

( The otter was not. She was messy and generally too impassioned in the act. It was not quick nor clean. )

( Unreliable. )

"C'mon. Ya wanted this. All this romantic stuff. Did it fa ya. C'mon. Shells. Another bite. Ya can handle it. Believe in ya. Ya know ah would neva hurt ya."

With his free arm, he supports her weight.

The lingering taste in her mouth reminds her of that night with the trembling kid in the cold room.

The blood that stains her hands.

Her breathing quickens.

Shelly pushes Jacyn away and moves towards the bathroom instead.

She drops to the ground next to the toilet.

At first, she tries to spit the taste out of her mouth.

Then she moves to shoving her fingers down her throat to try and through up the meat.

Brown eyes widen in 'alarm' as he yanks on her arm.

"Whatcha tryin'ta do. Do ya got one o' those eatin' issues. Nah, nah. Don't harm yaself."

The concern sounds real, in its own twisted way.

"Don' be an idiot. One those peoples who end up gettin' sick 'cause they ain't eatin. C'mon."

( It does not have that issue. )

"Stop it. Or ah'll stop ya by force. An' ya don' wan' dat."

"I am eating, I just don't eat meat anymore."

She stares down into the toilet bowl, not wanting to look up at Jacyn.

"I want you out of my house, I don't want you here."

She coughs a few times, before standing again.

"Please leave. I don't want to see you."

His arms wrap around her. Wasn't this once comforting? Wasn't this once nice?

Fueled by delusion, dragged by despair.

He's warm against her.

( Finding a way to produce body heat took time, but it was necessary in order to pass as human. )

"Ya love me. Ya love me. Ya. Love. Me. Say it. Ya know it's true. Ya know it. Say ya need me. Say ya love me."

She shouts. She hasn't shouted at him before.

"I'm trying to be a better person, but you're stopping me. I fi want to be better, I need you to leave me alone."

She slips out of his grip and turns to face him.

His brown eyes are a wild, blazing thing dripping anger.

"Ya ain't gettin' rid o' me, Shells. We togetha foreva. Ah told ya dat once an' ah can say it ova and ova as many times as it takes ya to LEARN!"

He grabs the front of her shirt, snarling as he drags her closer.

"YA WANNA SHOUT, SHELLS? YA LIKE THIS? YA WANT ME TA SHOUT?"

Shaking.

"YA AIN'T GONNA BE BETTA WIH'OUT ME. YA AIN'T BETTA. YA KILLED. SLAUGHTERED A CHILD. HIS BLOOD ON YA HANDS YA A MURDERER JUST LIKE ME. YA ONLY HOPE IS ME. YA ONLY SAVIOUR IS ME."

The shouting drops to a hissed whisper.

"Ya promised anything. Ya promised. Ya don't know any better. So say it. Say ya love me. Ya need me. Repeat it until ya remember an' get betta."

Shelly looks up at him with wide eyes, her chest heaving with each breath.

She closes her eyes and scrunches her face up again before opening them.

"I love you."

His grip on her shirt doesn't loosen.

"I love you, I love you so much and I wasn't thinking right. I... I beg for your forgiveness. Please forgive me, Jay."

Deep down, she knows she doesn't mean it anymore.

It, of course, does not believe the words.

But what it believes is not the important part.

Would the human it is current disguised as believe it?

The issue with copying him was that Jacyn was unstable. Of course, that was also the benefit. It meant that many of the things it did in disguise were believeable.

"Again." It snarls with his voice. "Until ya believe it. Until ya go back to normal. All ya talk about gettin' better- there ain't no gettin' betta. Ya regressin' can't ya tell."

Blame the otter. Let the 'hands' shake, similar to how one on drugs may behave.

Odd, erratic behaviour paired with memory issues would only push the image further.

'Jacyn' crosses his arms, grinning down at her as he leans against a wall.

"Cute place, Shells. Still. Would be nicer if ya had stayed wi' me."

Stalking forward, he tugs lightly at her hair, twirling it around his fingers.

"Ya love me. Ya promised. Ya ain't runnin' off ta go try be wi' anyone else. Ya know better."

His other hand cups her face, soft and gentle.

"Ya love me, don'tcha? Say it."

She looks stunned at his sudden appearance for a second before answering.

"I can't. Not again, Jacyn."

She slowly pushes Jacyn's hand that cups her face away.

"I don't wanna play this game anymore."

She looks up at him.

"I'm in so much pain. Just let me be. Let me help Morgan."

She goes to push herself off the floor but Jacyn stops her.

It sounds insistent.

"Ya love me."

It sounds hurt.

"Ya in pain? Who hurt ya? Ya know ah neva. Ya know ah would'n. Everythin' for ya. The world burnin'."

( It is aware this is not entirely accurate. Jacyn would be extreme, and threaten to hurt the otter or himself in a way off-putting to humans. )

"Don't leave." He murmurs, pressing his cheek to her shoulder. Kissing the back of her hand. He smells like blood, faintly. Sickly sweet. "Don't leave me, Shelly. Ah need ya. Ya need me."

She doesn't push him away this time. Instead, she makes a quick change in subject.

"What you're doing to Morgan, has to stop."

She tilts her head to look at him. She ignores the smell of blood on him, it's not important at the moment. She'll ask about that later.

"You gotta leave Morgan alone."

A soft gasp of air, pushed out in the mimicry of a voice box.

His grip grows tighter. Far tighter.

"'Course ah here. D'ya think ah an idiot? Ya think ah stupid?"

His voice lowers into a hiss.

"Ya met wi' her. Betrayed me. Traitor. Ya promised ya wouldn' leave ya wouldn' an' then ya go an' do this. Liar. Liar. Liar."

( Inane rambling is what Jacyn is known for. )

"Ah gave ya so many chances an' ya keep betrayin' em. Ya could've proven ya were tryin'."

Shelly pushes him away.

She picks up the heart, and it makes an unsettling squelch, before she pushes it to his chest.

"You can threaten me, you can hurt me, you can kill me over and over, but I draw the line with Morgan."

She pulls herself to her feet and starts to go to the kitchen and starts looking through the cupboards for the carpet cleaner.

"I want you out of my house."

It was fortunate that the human it was copying had already ruined its own reputation amongst many. It made its own actions more believable.

Best to keep up the ruse and confusion.

Red ribbon around a heart, warm in its grip. Hearts were seen as 'romantic'. It seemed fitting for 'Jacyn' to be doing.

She kneels down next to it, it looks like something out of an pinterest post.

With the ribbon tied neater than she thought Jacyn was capable of, and the slow drop of blood onto the carpet.

"Jacyn."

She pulls the note from the ribbon, blood stains on the paper as well.

She reads over it a few times before just sitting down against the door, tilting her head back and taking a few deep breaths.

Character Info:

Stray is 19 year old Tim Kyle - formerly known as Timothy Jackson Drake - who was adopted by Selina Kyle/Catwoman as a almost 10-year-old. The inccident in Ethiopia didn't end with anyone dead, which is why he never became a Robin. He is in a relationship with his universes Bernard ( @basically-bernard ).

He was thrown into this Dimension via cursed Amulet and is currently trying to find a way back home.

He sees Jacyn ( @jacynbrakegrayson ) as a brother, even tho things aren't too healthy between the two.

Batkid ( @batkid-from-another-father ) is a younger Tim, that he also sees as his little brother.

He also got adopted by Bitey ( @bite-anon ) somehow. Sometimes he lives with him and other times with the Selina from this universe ( @selinakyl-ee )

The Harley ( @harleenquinntime ) of this universe also got the Aunt title, which in return makes her daughter ( @luluquinn ) his little cousin.
