Summary:
1970, somewhere in America. Crowley has something she really wants to show Aziraphale. Some flirting, teasing, and a first-time experience with a blue raspberry Slurpee ensue.
Start reading here...
“Crowley, I still can’t figure out why you wanted to meet in America, of all places! What on earth is there that you just needed to show me that we can’t find in London?” Aziraphale pursed her lips as she stepped out of the car— a sleek red rental, the next best thing when Crowley’s favored Bentley was kept safe back home— and smoothed her pretty blue skirt. She continued speaking as she adjusted the lay of her white blouse’s rounded collar. She was dressed rather primly, but still lacking a few of the layers she favored in her more masculine presentation. It was as freeing as it was odd to be dressed so lightly. “I mean, really, you claim you’ve got this wonderful place to show me, and while I do try to be open-minded about such things, why on earth would I be impressed by a Seven Eleven? We were at the Ritz just last month, the Savoy the week before that!” Crowley rolled her eyes behind her sunglasses, a stylish pair with rather large square-ish frames. “Angel, come on, trust the process. I told you you’d like it, and you will. Can’t do the Ritz every time, it’d get boring! It’s 1970, not 1886 or whenever that place opened. Gotta stay with the times. You’re almost dressed for the right decade, though, proud of you.” Aziraphale scoffed. “Ta.”

This crack take just demanded to be done for today's prompt. Yes, the proportions are not right (compared to the original poster) and you can clearly see where I edited out Crowley's fixtures quite sloppily, but I was running out of time to do a better job, so I didn't even bother with the ones holding the poor shark in place. Sorry, not sorry. 🤷
Also, I honestly like how this version provides a closer look at Crowley in a bikini, right? She's wanted to wear this outfit for a really long time (the Ineffable Wives photo shoots, to be precise), but it didn't happen back then, because I didn't have any swimwear for Aziraphale. Luckily this set-up made both of them happy. 😉
Disclaimer: No LEGO animals were harmed in the making of this poster. Some poor Sluban shark wasn't so lucky got the honor of being introduced to the dark side instead, though. If it's any consolation... he hasn't complained about it. Guess he enjoyed the view too much.
Bon appétit, everyone!

IMPORTANT ADDENDUM/ADDITIONAL DISCLAIMER: No LEGO humans (or demons for that matter) were harmed in the making of this poster either!
@jade519shark Thank you for your concern, but it was completely unfounded! See the following picture attached as proof:
Or as Crowley would say: She was in the water. She knew the risk she was taking!
No seriously, don't worry! Crowley and Slorch get along fabulously in all their iterations in my world! It was love at first bite sight and they had a lot of fun with this set-up! 👙🦈💕
😆😆😆😆 amazing!!!

Yeah, I've definitely landed on S2-3 as "authorized fanfiction". A fun thing to play with, a way it could have gone, but not the way it definitely went. Taking what I love, treating the rest as ignorable. Asa and Anthony are darling AUs, alongside many other human AU versions I love.
Meanwhile, Crowley is frustrated that everything has gone cashless so gluing coins to the sidewalk is assumed to be a joke, and Aziraphale spends long hours complaining about Shein and the inability to get decent clothing these days, now that he's expanding his wardrobe. They take long walks and long drives and spend long, lazy summer days in the garden behind their cottage listening to birds singing and bees buzzing and drinking gin fizzes and eating sun-warm strawberries. Every year, the first one to hear a nightingale in spring gets to pick where they have dinner (the other picks what they do after). They toast to another year of being an us, and to the world.
Love the way to cope, it has always been and will be our story

It’s still summer ☀️
The thing I love most about Aziracrow is that they're so different, and yet so alike.
Their personalities, habits, and even the way they see the world are very different. They have different tastes in music and clothes. Crowley is more cynical than Aziraphale. Their worlds revolve around different things, they enjoy different earthly pleasures, they cope with stress in different ways. Crowley is sharp-tongued and sarcastic with almost everyone, while Aziraphale is polite and kind. And, in the end, one is an angel and the other is a demon.
From the outside, it might seem like they shouldn't even be friends, let alone fall in love. It might seem as though they have nothing in common.
But they both cherish the small, ordinary joys of being on Earth: good food, books, beautiful music, a favorite bookshop, a beloved car. Neither of them sees the Earth or humanity as mere pieces in Heaven and Hell's game. Neither believes that billions of meaningless deaths are a fair price to prove one side stronger than the other. They both love the Earth, and they love how wonderfully unpredictable humans are because of our free will. Our minds are capable of horrors no demon would ever imagine, yet also of kindness beyond the dreams of any angel. We can create and destroy, love and hate, make mistakes and learn from them, invent, choose, and change. And they love that about us, our imperfections, the very thing that makes us human.
And they're lonely.
Crowley is Aziraphale's best and only friend. Aziraphale is Crowley's best only friend as well.
As different as they are, they found far more in common with each other than they ever did with their respective sides. And they simply... chose to stay together.
Because facing the world with someone beside you is easier than facing it alone.
This! Both are perfect their way, but they fill those tiny little gaps that make you feel better for each other
