Didn't use it in the end cuz it no longer made sense.... SPOILERS FOR CHAPTER 12!!!!!! Im gonna yap about the chapter titles I could have chosen hehe
1. Promises broken before they were spoken
- This is the corny one LOL. I didn't choose this one not because I found it corny but because there were no vows! I thought of this while I was writing the first scene thinking that I would write vows for the wedding scene but that didn't happen so yeah. Man I was proud of the rhyme too.
2. They say all good stories end with a wedding, how come this one isn't?
- Also thought of this during the writing of the first scene. It was too on the nose and it's literally Aladin's thoughts... I stole his thoughts. It was also super long and chap 10 & 11's were already too long so I wanted to change it up.
- I honestly don't remember if I thought of this was when Florante was tweaking otw to the wedding or tweaking during the wedding. Either way didn't pick it cuz this chapter wasn't just focused on him.
4. All for nothing in the end
- I wanted you guys to overthink the chapter title LOLLL. Realistically, this is misinformation cuz it was all for nothing... Wink wink nudge nudge BAAHAHA
5. The beginning of the end
- ALMOST. GHIS ALMOST MADE YHE CUT. Sadly it didn't cuz there are already 2 chapters with "the" at the start and I didn't want it to feel repetitive y'know? Gotta change it up. Also it felt a bit too cliche? On the nose? Idk the right term but it felt like those words.
6-8. Our reflections in the mirror / From where we were to now / Everything we have done to get to today
- I was going for a reflection-ish type of title. Especially since literally ever since chapter 6 I've been building up to this wedding day. Also since I took bits and pieces from previous chapters and put it here if you noticed (ty for noticing <3). Didn't pick these guyz cuz all of em just didn't hit right.
- This was literally conceptualized as I was setting up everything to post this chapter. It was after I realized "The beginning of the end" just didn't feel right to me. So I took this from the last scene, which, WAS NOT AT ALL PLANNED ILL HAVE YOU KNOW.
All I expected to write for this chapter was the wedding, but then my fingers didn't stop typing so I guess you guys get a little sneak peak for chapter 13.
- Anyways, I chose this one in the end not only because of that but because I thought it was funny how unsatisfied (I dare say) I was with all of these freaking options.
- That's what I thought I'd simply name the chapter when I was grade 8. I really was not freaking excited for chapter 12 LOLZ
I honestly wish I kept all of my other options for my other chapters so I could write about it here... Sigh. Why didn't I think about making a blog sooner RAHHHHHH
