His ability to obfuscate and individualize the power relations within hollywood while being a transmisogynist (which didn’t get him booted from the hosting gig despite the relatively uncontroversial decision to remove Kevin Hart from a hosting gig a year before for similar reasons) indicates that he is little more than a figurehead for the worst of Smug Postmodern End-of-History liberal fuckfaces and their terrible fucking politics, considering that his decision to declare the Globes “free from politics leaves his own reactionary ideals unquestioned and in fact supported. The absolute fucker.
