Been busy with midterms, but I've still been working on and off on Yokai Watch related stuff, albeit more personal irl stuff, but this is probably the most I've been into Yokai Watch, so I'll just enjoy it! Here's something I'm able to share though: I wanted to design something with my favorite guys to put on the cover of my Yokai Watch card binders, which can come in different colors, so I experimented! I initially only did a few, but I was having too much fun and before I knew it more just spawned. I'll probably only vectorize a few of them for print: one binder for favorite cards and the rest for each card set, which there are surprisingly A LOT of

Pupsicle's and Frazzel's original art was already symmetrical and I was beginning to run out of steam 20 drawings later, so I edited those instead of drawing them from scratch. I also didn't shade in Lie-in Heart nor the kyubis because I think they look better without it

While drawing these, I actually tried my best to replicate the original art style as closely as possible and I'm realizing how wrong my other drawings of these characters were- like since when were Shmoopie's front paws so small

okay so i have an essay deadline in over 2 weeks. but i am going to write it today. astonishing, right? but rn i don't have a lot to do (well i have another deadline but i still need to get feedback for the first draft before i can write a second draft and i also have an exam next week but i do not feel like studying for that) and i've already had a few weeks where i haven't had to do anything for uni so i am writing this essay now. it only has to be 1800 words, should be easy. it'd be nice if i can get it done today

oh my god i'm so tired psychotic does not mean violent it does not mean angry or erratic. it refers to a person suffering from psychosis, a loss of touch with reality that includes hallucinations and/or delusions. psychotic people are not inherently violent and y'all need to understand how much stigma you create when you again and again incorrectly use the word psychotic without even thinking about it

though every rat is special, it's a wonderful and unusual thing for their accomplishments to be remembered and cherished by so many people so many years later. we're all so fortunate to know about the rat who banged out the tunes!
