Today I noticed the pavements in Burnley are littered with hundreds of dead bees. Every few steps I took, there was a dead or dying bee. I tried to revive a few. But no. WTF happened to cause this massacre?! (It’s June and I’ve not seen a single living butterfly either). This is a fairly rural area and I live right on a park. It’s so distressing I can’t even begin.
