After taking the picture and offering the other a soft (albeit not entirely sincere) smile, Woojin took the necessary steps forward and reached out his hand. “This is how Americans introduce themselves, right?”

“Oh... right.” Jai was still rather confused, but tried his best to continue to go about what he was doing. 

Jai reached out and grabbed the other man’s hand and began to shake it. “Yeah, it is.” He smiled politely. “Are you not American?”

“Yeah, it was just really rude of him to not consider my feelings when he wrote the show. Even if I was only three when it came out, he should have known. But yeah, me neither, and it sucks. But it’s too good to not rewatch every few months.”

“It’s kind of a bummer that the newer generation won’t have Buffy. They could always watch it later on in life, but it’s not the same as growing up with it. Plus, they’ll never know the fear of seeing the Gentlemen on your screen as a little kid.”

“Same here. There’s nothing else like it when it comes to fucking with your emotions. Oh god, Joyce’s death. That was the second hardest part of the entire show. Like what the fuck was Joss Whedon doing? That shit was not okay, and Buffy was so fucked up.”

“Joss was doing what he did best; creating wonderful and real characters that you could connect to. It sucked to see them in so much pain and even die. Especially Buffy. Seeing a strong character like her get so low... That fucked me up. I can honestly say no other show has ever made me feel that way.”

“You definitely become far more invested in the plot, especially since we were much younger when the show first aired. Now that we’re older, we understand all of it much more.”

“Honestly, Buffy is my inspiration for basically everything. I constantly find myself watching old episodes, so I think it’s about time I give the show another go beginning to end.”

“I relate so hard. Nothing quite gets to me like this show. Can we talk about how Buffy’s sanity basically plummeted when her mother died? That hurt so much. Oh God, I’m getting teary eyed just thinking about it...”

“Oh, I agree entirely. Her death really got to me. I was an emotional wreck for weeks. I still kind of am.”

She chomped at the air playfully as he mentioned teeth, then growled back as he mimed at chewing on her. “You’re too good to me. Like all I do is whine, occasionally model for you, and eat your food.”

“Oh please.”He rolled his eyes. “You know those nights are some of your favorites. We have some pretty hilarious memories from those sugar induced nights.” Jai laughed, thinking back at some of the many moments he has shared with Cleo. “Ah, don’t snap your teeth at me. You’ll give me ideas. I’ve been digging big, pointy, teeth lately. Let’s do something crazy, scary, and intimidating soon.” His creativity began to go wild. Jai could guess that Cleo knew him well enough to realize he had already begun to think of ideas for their next shoot. “And what kind of friendship would we have if it was any different? You’re my partner in crime, so of course you get to eat my food and whine about all of your problems.”
