saw a reddit post about a trans woman applying to be moved to a woman's prison and even ignoring all the transphobic shit in the comments. like half the people were talking about the assault and rape of prisoners as if it's a good thing, that they deserve it for being "violent criminals"
idk maybe i just thought "people shouldn't be raped and abused for breaking a law" was a take most people agreed with but i guess im just naive
like how the fuck are we meant to get anywhere if when you mention v-coding the overwhelming response is "well if they didn't wanna get violently raped they shouldn't have broken the law"
