“Liked” is an understatement for the obsessive nature of my feeling for this particular film.

But yeah, I liked it….

Tied with Empire as my favorite SW film, Luke’s arc being one of my favorite arcs of the entire franchise, and Rey/Kylo being one of the most interesting dynamics of any movie in recent memory. The cinematography, the symbolism, the acting, the character development, the emotional resonance… it’s pure gold. It baffles me that people could loathe this film, it’s just so SO well done.

Private Vampire AU with Forceboxnd

Maz Kanata sent a distress signal to the Resistance. A vampire invasion by the First Order was taking place on her planet. Her best bet was with the Resistance.

Their best vampire killers were dispatched immediately, including Poe Dameron, Finn, and Rey. Their ships landed by Maz Kanatas castle and started their battle.

Rey, as usual, had no problem slaughtering vampires and stormtroopers. That's what she was trained to do and she was the best at it.

When it came to killing vampires, Resistance members needed to stay in groups. Fighting alone was dangrous.

However, during their battle, Rey stepped in the wrong place and the ground collapsed under her. She remained calm as she descended into a lake of water.

Swimming to dry rock, she thought she was safe. Looking up, she saw there was no possibility of her climbing out. She could barely even see the hole she made. Rey needed to find another way out.

Did any of her brothers know she was down there?

And then she felt someone grab her and pin her against the wall.

Her silver staff had been thrown a distance away, her nightvision goggles were thrown in the water, and he had her pinned down. He looked at her with hungry, Sith-like eyes and smiled. As Rey fought to obtain the steak in her boot, he purred,

"Hello, love."

This one was stronger than the rest.
