Carried by the flow of life I find myself in Vegas tonight. And as soon as I set foot in this city full of bright lights and happy tipsy people, something gets switched on inside of me - the player. . When I was 16 I fell in love with a game. That game was poker. And for the next 5 years, till I was 21, I lived and breath poker. I read every book I could get on the subject. I played over half a million hands online sometimes on 12-16 tables simultaneously and I traveled the globe playing in casinos in Germany, Austria, Singapore, China, Australia, and here in Vegas. Poker was my passion and my muse, my teacher and my lover. . And through the countless hours I set on the table, the dojo I had chosen, I not only learned how to master the game on a consistently high level, but I was deeply formed by it. . Poker is an art. The best way to describe it is that it is like chess with randomness - strategy and luck beautifully intertwined. It has a good mix of math, game theory, psychology, investment strategy and emotional intuition. It's fun. And, it's brutal. You can play perfect poker, but if Fortunate is not on your side, you loose. Everything. . Among the many things that I've learned from this wicked game, this is the most powerful: Non-attachment. . Because after playing thousands of hands and winning and losing thousands of dollars, sometimes within the span of a couple of minutes, one thing becomes cristal clear. If you want to keep playing, you need to let go of the outcome. All you can do is look at your hand, play with all you've got and then, sit back and see how the universe unfold. . . #pokerlife #lifelessons #dolcevita #poker #allin #shuffleupanddeal #lasvegas #lifeisagame #lifelessons #vanlife #puravida #traveldeeper #entrepreneurlife #entrepreneursofinstagram #entrepreneurlifestyle #travelblogger (at ARIA Resort & Casino)
