I bought a ticket to see BTS?

Let me make this clear, I don't do Kpop things outside of the internet. I'm in my 20s and none of my friends even know who BTS is, and yet, something possessed my Kpop trash behind to buy a ticket this morning...and then book a hotel...and bus fare. I think it hasn't sunk in yet that I'm going in real life lol. I'll wake up tomorrow like good Lordt what have I done?

Major condolences to fans who couldn't get tickets though. I know some people have been planning to go for weeks. Keep your heads up!

I saw black panther last night and mmmmmm. There were a lot of scenes in the movie that people won’t understand. Like the separation from native Africans and “black Americans”. “Black Americans” are just as African as native Africans and this movie brings awareness. This is why at the end there was “African vs(Black) African” brawl. Many people believe that Africans born in America are lost without fully understanding that”Black Americans” live in a society with their oppressors. native Africans view “black Americans” as lost, lazy, and violent. violent because they fight for equal rights (“rioting”) which native Africans never experienced. This causes misunderstanding of both native Africans and Africans who are born in America. (This disconnection caused by the one and only colonialism and western societies tactic to split us up and divide us even more) “Black Americans” feel as though their family has turned their backs on them because of where they were born. There is a huge disconnection that all us Africans (no matter where we were born) need to fix. Once each side understands this we will be able to fully and completely overthrow rasicm Bc we will have the help of our ancestors in Africa. We all need each other in every single way and that is afrofuturism.

I think you've been unintentionally unfair to continental Africans in this post. I get what you're trying to say about unity, but suggesting that native Africans do not live with their oppressors or did not have to fight for their rights is ignorant. The slave ships didn't take people and then sail off never to return. The continent was carved up, pillaged and owned by Europeans, some of whom never left, and the effects of colonialism are inseparable from modern African life . I mean, some of these African countries didn't even gain independence until the 1970s. Be mindful about your generalizations.

This is part of the list of the idols that need help. The list is bit too short in my opinion, I think there are more idols in the industry that need help or maybe because it’s obvious by their behavior, (depress individual are known to mask their feelings by exaggerating their laugh or happiness)that their name are mention. Let’s look out for all of them. All fandom please unite to protect each other.

I know your heart is in the right place, but I don't think such lists are a good thing to do. Even though these people have been vocal about their depression, creating a watch list only stigmatizes and "others" them as people who can not be trusted to care for themselves. Think about if you were on this list and everybody at your school saw it. Having people pick apart every frown and blink, losing the ability to have a bad day without raising alarms is more harmful than helpful imo.

Am I the only one who's glad it's Kimmel and not Fallon or one of the others? Kimmel is sassy but he's generally very nice to his guests and doesn't mind playing dumb to give the guest something to talk about. I can't wait!

Fallon asks awkward questions. Conan is just too hype lol. J-Hope would feed into that energy and the interview would just descend into screaming and weird noises 🤣

How wherever a dating "scandal" drops, every fan, their grandma and their dog has to post a PSA about the proper way to react to it, as if the small minority of immature and/or crazy reactions were the majority, and by doing so effectively spread and breathe life into the very scandal they wish to erase.
