synopsis: after her birthday celebration, jake visits kira to keep her company

It's been a tiring day for everyone. Enhypen just wrapped up another concert for their Japan tour, morning interviews and fanmeets, guest appearances, and to top it all off, it was Kira's birthday today so she had to do a live to thank the fans.
In the events of her birthday live, her members knocked on her door with confetti canon and a birthday cake for the birthday girl and they stayed for a while to talk to her and engenes as they sing her a happy birthday. Before it ended, Jake quietly took his time to get ready for bed.
As Kira turns of the live she lies down on her bed inside her and Jake's shared room as her roomate was finishing washing up. The echoing sound of the shower could be heard while the girl rests her eyes waiting for her member to finish. Thankfully, she already took her bath before turning on the love because getting up to get ready for bed didn't seem like an option for her at the moment.
A few minutes later, the bathroom door opens and Jake walks out, freshly bathed. "You've finished your live?" he asks as he rubs the remaining water out of his hair. Kira nodded in reply, her eyes still closed and her body sprawled against the bed. "Then why didn't you sleep yet?" he asks again, this time he sits on Kira's bed as he leans againsts his arms looking at the older girl.
"I was waiting for you to finish up" She replies in a whisper. This time, Kira tugs on Jake's shirt asking him to lie down with her. She moves to her side and gives him space for him to get comfortable it, "You didn't have to", he replies as he got settled down. His arm turned intoa pillow as Kira rests on it while his other hand brushes away the hair on her face.
Kira nuzzles her head on Jake's neck as she gives him a hug. "Yeah, but I want to wish you a good night before I sleep"
The Australian boy chuckles and nuzzles his head back. The hand that was brushing her, now rested on her back as he grips her in a tight embrace. "Why are you so cute?" He asks with a smile on his face. "Good night" He whispers in her ear.
"Good night" She whispers back. "Now, get some rest", the younger male says as he was abput to let go. She tightens her embrace not allowing him to get away. "Stay with me tonight, please" She talks.
For engenes, this was a side of her that they barely saw— soft and clinging for attention. And only if you look close enough, you'd realize this side of her. She always had this cold exterior and she loved to act like she emotionless, her members, especially Jake, knew that this was a privilege only he and the rest were special enough to openly experience.
"Alright, since it's your birthday" Jake replies back with a smile.
He gives her a kiss on the forehead and rubs her back. "Happy birthday, love. Good night"
