The ‘A Knight of the seven kingdoms’ adaption looks to be a pretty accurate adaption of the books, but as a Brienne fan that makes it even more maddening that literally none of the many Dunk/Brienne parallels in the books, were ever actually adapted in GoT.

Jaime never said ‘I dreamed of you’ after the bear pit in GoT.

Nimble Dick doesn’t even exist in GoT therefore Brienne’s graveside speech to him that parallels Dunk’s graveside speech to Ser Arlan does not exist in show canon.

Brienne never has Ser Duncan’s coat of arms painted onto her shield in GoT like she does in the books.

In Asoiaf Podrick is a a young boy, like Egg, who follows Brienne, like Egg follows Dunk, in GoT Podrick is a grown man who Jaime ‘gives’ to Brienne, who also happens to be a sex god for some reason.

In Got Brienne is never described as ‘Thick as a castle wall’ like Dunk and Brienne both are in the books

the whole brienne deserves better than jaime thing is hilarious in a canon context, especially when people frame it as if it's a result of a self-esteem problem or deliberately choosing unattainable men or whatever. because she canonically rejects two suitors who actively want to marry her, beating one to a pulp and threatening to geld the other. she's like i want the hottest man in a hundred mile radius or i'll die alone actually

Lyonel gets rejected by Dunk. Dunk won't be his man or his man. A hundred years later Dunk's descendant (Brienne) is sworn to a Baratheon (Renly) and has unrequited love for him. She's his knight but not his woman. History doesn't repeat itself but it does rhyme.

pop health science is so annoying bc it'll be like "did you know? eating strawberries will give you mega cancer" and you're like pfft whatever begone influencer. but sometimes then you'll see a reasonably credible article like "Study Shows Possible Link Between Strawberries and Mega Cancer" and you're not usually the type to follow that kind of thing religiously but idk maybe you should consider not eating strawberries? but then there's another article saying "Strawberry/Mega Cancer Study Debunked" and it turns out the original study had a sample size of 3 and was funded by Big Blueberry, and strawberries may have a small connection to mega cancer but only if you are genetically predisposed to mega cancer and eat 50 strawberries every day. so you return to your strawberry eating life. but whenever you eat strawberries in public someone tells you about the mega cancer.
