Frog Feet
Frogs have feet which can be webbed, padded, spaded or something called fingered feet (acts as an aide in swimming, sliding, climbing or digging)
They look like flippers with four toes on each hindfoot.

Panamanian Golden Frog
also known as Cerro Campana stubfoot toad.
Is a species endemic to Panama.
Inhabit the streams alongside the mountainous slopes of the Cordilleran cloud forests of west-central Panama.
May have been endangered since 2007. Has been collected for breeding in captivity to try and preserve the species.
The species skin is toxic (glands on the skin produce tetrodotoxin and a unique compound called zetekitoxin). Skin contains enough toxins to kill 1,200 mice.
Instead of calling (to mate) like most male frogs they use visual displays (leg and head twitching, stamping the ground and hopping in place). Male frogs will wave and female frogs will wave back if interested.
Their estimated lifetime is 10-15 years.
Red-eyed Tree Frog
also known as the Agalychnis Callidryas. Comes from Greek words Kalos and Dryas.
Is native to Neotropical rainforests where it ranges from Mexico through Central America to Colombia.
Many scientists believe their red eyes are used to ward off predators.
Are nocturnal (sleep stuck to leaf-bottoms with their eyes closed and body markings covered).
When they are disturbed they flash they red eyes and reveal their huge, webbed orange feet and bright blue and yellow flanks. (called startle coloration) This may give a bird or snake pause, letting the frog get away to safety.
They are not endangered but their habitat is shrinking at an alarming rate and their highly recognizable image is often used to promote the cause of saving the world's rainforests.
Zombie Frog
measures about 1.5 inches.
Got its name based on how the researchers (Ernst and his colleagues) looked after pawning through the mud to find it.
Part of the genus Synapturanus.
Was discovered in Guyana, South America.
They are nocturnal and live underground. Males only emit their calls during or just after heavy rains in the tropical setting making it challenging to pinpoint their location.
Australian Green Tree Frog
also known simply as the Green Tree Frog in Australia, White's Tree Frog or Dumpy Tree Frog.
Is a species of Tree Frog native to Australia and New Guinea (where the Litoria Mira is native to) with introduced populations in the United States and New Zealand.
Morphologically similar to Ranoidea Splendida and Ranoidea Infrafrenata
Grows to around 4 inches or more in length (larger than most Australian frogs).
In captivity its average lifespan is about 16 years.
It screams when it is in danger to scare off predators and squeaks when it is touched.
Due to its appearance and behavioral traits is a popular exotic pet throughout the world.
Member of the family 'Pelodryadidae' and is under the subfamily 'Pelodryadidae'.
The name 'White's tree frog' is in honor of John White's first description in 1790.
The first Australian frog to be scientifically described.
Originally was called the Blue Frog despite its green color because the specimens White sent were damaged by the preservative and appeared blue.
The frog is sometimes called the Pelodryas Caerula in the scientific literature most likely because Caerula is Latin for blue.
Marsh Frog
species of frog native to Europe (but only in the last decade) and parts of Western Asia.
Apparently largest type of frog in most of its range (males growing to 3.9 inches and females frogs growing to 4 inches)
Tadpoles can reach up to 7.3 inches but usually only in winter where the tadpole has time to grow.
Flies make up to 40% of their diet and beetles make up to 20%. Marsh Frogs consume up to 10-20% of their body weight in food.
As tadpoles they eat a wide variety of organic matter including algae, detritus, decaying plants and dead animals.
They look very similar to Pelophylax Lessonae) and Pelophylax Esculentus.
Tomato Frog
Tomato Frogs are any of the three species of genus Dyscophus: D. antongilii, D. insularis, D. guineti. Dyscophus is the only genus in subfamily Dyscophinae.
They are endemic to Madagascar (which is off the coast of Africa).
Adult Tomato Frogs are larger than a persons fist and males usually grow to about 2 and a half inches and females usually grow to about 3-4 inches.
The frogs habitat is being deforested but they can apparently adapt to living in cultivated areas and found in gardens and eucalyptus plantations.
They breed during rainy season in stagnant or very slow-moving water.
Dyscophus antongilii are in danger due to deforestation and over-collecting for pet trade (poaching), they are protected under CITES (convention on international trade in endangered species) and are illegal in trade.
In short: chonky frog bois

Litoria Mira
also known as 'Chocolate Frog' is a tree flog belonging to the genus Litoria and is part of the Litoria Caerulea species complex.
It was discovered in New Guinea by a research team led by Griffith University. It was discovered in a hot rainforest swamp infested with malarial mosquitos, spiky trees and crocodiles and without roads.
It was named Mira because of the nature of the discovery (it's chocolate brown skin)
Litoria Mira's closest relative is the 'Australian green Tree Frog' ( the only big difference being the different colours). The reason they are so similar is because because Australia and New Guinea used to be linked by land for much of the late Tertiary period.
It also seems to apparently be a bit bigger than any other Litoria frogs.
