My insight about the new DepEd Curriculum.

Hello people!! This is my last year as a Senior High School student, and I am currently under the MATATAG Curriculum. But I've heard a rumor that matatag curriculum could be replaced by a New Curriculum? But going deeper, what is the new curriculum of DepEd? Well it is the type of curriculumn which is have a two choices when you go in senior high school. They reduced the tracks to Academic and TechPro only. For me it is okay because with this new Curicullumn would helps students clearly choose between preparing for college or being ready for work. Also based on the curriculum the core subjects were also reduced from 15 down to 5 only, such as Effective Communication, Math, Science, Life Skills, and Filipino (History and Society) so with that kind of thing students can focus more on important and practical knowledge.
But personally, the new curriculum would be better when if they did not change the system because students would have more choices in which path they want to enter or which strand they really need. But also another concern is that this may cause conflict or difficulty for students, especially in the Academic Track why? because the subjects are more difficult and demanding. This could be a challenge for students who struggle academically and may cause additional stress. Although the New Curriculum 2025 has good intentions and improvements, I believe that it is still needs to be properly implemented to ensure that all students are supported and no one is LEFT BEHIND!
