I dont know how I’m going to say this but I feel as if I must. I love your daughter. Over the past year and ten months we have been together the love we have for each other has only grown day by day. To put it as honest as possible... I would be honored if I was to receive your blessing. We both would like to be each other’s forever.

My love for Christ has also grown in the past several months. I not only love him but he is the reason I can keep moving more than anything at times. I have peace when I take council from and pour my heart out to him.

My feelings for your daughter are as stated before, I love her. And I would love for us to be part of each other. One of the phrases we say to each other quite simply with out any question in our head is “ I do”

I have always loved you and your family. And I pray that someday I can be part of it.

The pain we feel when we leave each other gets worse every time. We do long for that day where we say in front of God and everyone,

Hope.... why is it such a thing, through all I’ve been through and even though I felt her presence in the past, I am now wary to? Should I not willingly allow her arms to hold me? Or does it make me vulnerable for what happens next? Am I now thinking clear? Or am I blinding myself?

I’m torn

I’m torn up inside, but I dropped the knife along time ago. The feeling of the wound that almost killed me is reopening but not fresh. I don’t deserve to feel this way. It was my fault in the beginning. “ What’s wrong?” They ask; I only can pray they never feel the pain of what is inside me now. “It’s not for long my love”..., still echoes in my soul. A fire that no man can put out. Do I want it put out? Or do I love the way it burns? Do I lock up these emotions for the allotted time, or do I let my heart melt by it’s flames?... so far... but so close, like a star inside the cosmos... I feel like I was healed just in time to feel the cut agian. No blood was lost, no ties re broke. Just a heart and soul being separated from its love.

Every now and again, I feel the insistent need to shut down. It's not always because of bad, trying, or difficult times. Sometimes it's just because life has become too much, too quick, too busy, all at once and I don't want to move anymore.

I'm always going. One place to another, and another, and another. It's not all bad. The quickness of life keeps me on my toes a d directs me from one beautiful moment to the next. But sometimes, life just feels like its flying by so fast that even sleep feels like too much work, just another task. I get exhausted, but when sleep becomes another chore, when can you find rest?

So, I try to shut down. Stop thinking, stop moving, stop everything and just process. Unfortunately, I've only found one thing in this world that allows me to completely shut down, and he is far from me right now. So, I'll do my best on my own, and hope to find some rest another way.
