SheAsksMusic Interview: James Robb.
This is our interview with twenty year old singer James Robb, from the UK. He is currently in the studio writing his debut album, which I’m sure you’re all excited for, cause we definitely are!!
Before we get started, you should all check out James Robb…
On Youtube: www.youtube.com/jamja3
On Twitter: www.twitter.com/JamesARobb
Check out his website: www.jamesrobbmusic.com
Now for the interview….
Question 1: What inspired you to sing?
I grew up in a pretty musical house, so it just kind of happened naturally. But in primary school I had a teacher called Ms Murphy. She singled me and a friend out to join choir and that’s when I really got into it.
Question 2: Who is your idol/Inspiration?
There are lots! My favourite artist is Sam Cooke, so maybe him.
Question 3: What’s your favorite food?
Such a hard choice. It changes all the time. I’m a big pasta fan
Question 4: Do you have any bad habits?
I hope not aha. I put ketchup on a lot of things that don’t really need it, if that counts.
Question 5: What do you call your fanbase?
Robbers. First time my boring name has come in useful!
Question 6: How many sugars do you have in your Tea/Coffee?
Firmly team no sugar when it comes to tea and I rarely drink coffee
Question 7: Who would your dream collaboration be with dead or alive?
Mark Ronson & Sam Cooke.
Question 8: Do you have any upcoming gigs soon? If yes, where?
Quite a few - 14th June @ Hoxton Hall in London, as well as Essex Pride, 22nd June. All the info’s on facebook.com/thejamesrobb
Question 9: What one thing do you want to achieve in your lifetime?
For people to enjoy listening to my music. I don’t think I could ask for much more Question 10: If you could replace any member of any band, who would you replace? Adam Levine of Maroon 5, he’s been a vocal inspiration for a while and I love their music. Would be cool to be in his shoes for a day.
We’d like to say a big thank you to James for letting us interview him, be sure to check him out!
keep posted for more interviews.
