This was our last big project for Fashion Week: Marc Jacobs Fall 2015. Our studio did 12 huge panels to wrap around the entire runway space. We used 150 gallons of paint and 100 gallons of water to complete this design inspired by Jeremiah Goodman's architectural and interior paintings.

This is the drop that we painted for Anna Sui Ready-To-Wear 2015. Lots of mark making...

Unfortunately I did not grab any in-progress shots of this drop, but it was done for Herve Leger during fashion week. We primed the canvas in a gold/brown color. Afterwards, we painted a gentle adhesive on top and laid down the gold leaf.

Here's a couple random personal projects that I've done. They are all prints except for the card which says "Finn," which is done with string and paper.

These are all carpets (made of canvas) that we painted for the Ralph Lauren store. I was lucky enough to sneak a photo of the above rug in the store right before it closed. The lighter rug was made to hang above the fireplace.

This was a mural we did at the Whitney Museum of American Art. 

The black spots that you see were already in place. We painted with white and black glow in the dark paint on top, so that every time the lights were turned on and off, the eyes looked like they were blinking.

This was a drop we did for a Mariah Carey Christmas special. My body has never hurt so much on a job. Observe the scale of this thing. The little snowflakes were painted in gold and have sequence that were hand glued.

Ok so I haven't been on, or updated my Tumblr for a long time... I've been working at a backdrop painting studio in Bushwick since July called Oliphant Studio, and I adore it.

Logo I created for a startup company called Scrumpsh which creates tofu alternative products. Client wanted the logo to look fun with silly animated characters (they specifically wanted "chick"peas).

Last week I worked on a Vera Wang Bridal shoot in Long Island with set designer Daniel Graff. We spent the weekend building the props for the shoot, which included a huge flower ball and an even bigger string insulation piece. 

The flower ball involved a lot of taping flowers and spray painting, but the string installation was comical. Each string had to be 12 feet in length (and there were hundreds of them). Daniel recommended that I walk around in circles between two poles 24 feet apart. This took me 2 hours. There had to have been a better way... Then I drilled holes in a piece of foam core and we spent another 3 hours threading these long ribbon strands. It looked pretty awesome when we hung the installation in it's space, though unfortunately we ran out of time for that particular shot.

We did, however, shoot the flower room, and the attic scene. I was responsible for the set dressing for these scenes. These are my photos from the process.
