keith is just… such a good fucking character i’m sitting here thinking about him and about why he’s such a hero already despite not knowing it and how he’s literally nothing but self sacrificing and resourceful the dude lived off the land all alone after getting booted from the garrison and tried to stay productive with his life instead of just lashing out at the world for taking so much from him he gets so starry eyed and excited when he realizes he’ll always have a place in the universe because he’s just as connected to the stars as everyone else and he doesn’t care if you’re on a pedestal or considered the lowest of the low he’s been both and he sees people for who they are he’s so afraid of growing close to others and of wanting people in his life to love him but he cares so much
