seonols:
āiām happy to see youāre still as modest as ever, at least that hasnāt changed,ā she chides, a gentle punch ( could something so weak even be classified as a punch? )Ā directed towards his arm. sheād missed it here, missed him, more than sheād thought she did.Ā ādid everything iĀ tell go right in one ear and out the other? well, iĀ guess i canāt fault you, it has been around five yearsā ah, itās still weird knowing it was that long,ā she nods her head in confirmation, a laugh leaving her in her slight disbelief.Ā ājapan was definitelyĀ different, but a nice differentā a much faster pace in the city than the slower pace hereā¦but, i donāt know,ā she trails off for a second.Ā āi was working as a journalist after graduation, and i liked it, but something just started feeling off. maybe i just missed home too much,ā she finishes with a light shrug, a grin on her lips.Ā ābut what about you? how have you been spending these busyĀ adulting years so far?ā
āit started feeling off because there isnāt a jang junsu in japan, i bet,ā he teases, followed by soft laughter,Ā āreally, though, iām glad that you enjoyed it while it lasted, but iām also glad that you decided to come back.ā when the question is directed back at him, there isnāt much else to do except sigh.Ā ābelieve it or not, i'm still in school. it feels like itāll never endāi guess i knew that the journey to getting a phd in psychology would be a long one, but i didnāt know it would be like this.ā he doesnāt hate school; he knows that itāll be useful in the long run and he does have a passion for his area of study, but it seems like all of his friends are getting out into the real world while heās lagging behind. he hates that feeling.Ā āi was waiting tables for a while, but iām working in a daycare these days. itās really fun, actually, the kids are all super sweet. if i ever escape this groundhog day situation, hopefully iāll become a childrenās counselor. if not, some kind of therapist... or maybe iāll just drop out, live in a van, and travel the world. thatās an adult thing to do, right?ā
