We Rented Electric Kickboard Scooters in Shibuya!

We rented electric scooters (aka E-scooters) that have recently become available on public roads in the central areas of Tokyo.

Although efficient, the trains in Tokyo are notorious for being crowded, and taxis can get pretty pricey! So if you need to quickly dash across town to your next meeting, then this could be the perfect solution! You can just pull up the app on your phone, find your nearest location and pick up an electric kickboard scooter or bicycle for your next journey!

We took them across the world-famous Shibuya Scramble crossing and then around the area, stopping off at popular spots like Yoyogi Park and Harajuku!

On March 24th, we visited a few of the most popular sakura (cherry blossoms) viewing spots in Tokyo to make a YouTube video. Here are some pictures we got in Nakameguro. Overall, because of the current situation, we saw a much less number of people compared to the regular years, and there were no lanterns along the Meguro river after dark; however, it was definitely a pleasant, relaxing experience to see beautiful sakura and people’s happy faces on the streets, especially after multiple stay-at-home periods in Tokyo.
