when youāve been staring at the stars for so long, you forget what a night feels like without light, and there is something terrifying about silence after all the lullabies and whispers and quiet laughs, and even though the moon canāt understand what it means to be apart from the sun, you will have to learn, and you are not ready to say goodbye.

One Year
One year from now Is little more than a blink But all the time it takes To change everything
One year from now Is still one year away Yet in one yearās time It will be today
The Garden Gate
Through crunchy crisp, cold icy snow A long way up the lane I go. Past trees with icy fingers still Trudging my way up a slippery hill. Small birds fly by with a busy mind Working hard soft berries to find. Rabbits scurry round fencing poles Little footprints lost in holes. Somewhere I see a welcome light Shining bright a joyful sight. My garden gate wide open see A welcome sight you must agree.
Cherished Letters verses Journals
Today, emails and instant massaging have changed our lives making communication much quicker and easier. However, such immediate offerings also rob us of something. A letter from a loved one once received was often cherished sometimes tied with a ribbon and stored away to read and re-read. But not so today, it's more like ... read-answer- delete. Without even a second thought Ā this fast finger action ... plunges all our caring thoughts into the eternal hole of oblivion called trash .Ā
That being the case. . .
Perhaps it's worth a thought.
What will your family have left of your memories to cherish! Ā
Maybe you should begin writing a Journal

GIRBIL FOR DINNER
I invited Greg Gerbil for dinner he's such a good friend to me he taught me to cook like a sinner I put on two pounds, can you see?
I wanted a hobby for weekends I thought... fishing would be good for me but Greg frowned and said " let's have a party" then invited his friends but not me!
So... I'm having Greg Gerbil for dinner and carrots and peas which he'll hate roast potatoes are always a winner with Gerbil served up on a plate ***
