âWhat in the world?â Sora wasnât exactly sure. He heard something was going on with this section of the island that people were living in. Now that he thoughts about it, most of his friends were actually staying in that area. âI gotta see if everyone is okay.â There was no second thoughts to entering this strange little game that people were force to play. The boy was not that bad at playing these kinds of games himself, but to those that just enter the city, or wouldnât be able to play the game and rank up some points, would have something terrible happen to them. No way the boy could let that happen, and it was his time to protect and help those out.
A good thing that some people seem to be doing fine on their own, or have someone helping them out. Sea blue eyes glancing around to notice a familiar blonde looking around to try and pop one of those things that is close by. âOh! Namine!â Calling out to her, the boy ran towards her, happy to see that she was alright. âIâm glad I found you. Sorry you had to get dragged into all this, but I bet you could use some help.â He wouldnât take no for an answer if she were to reject it. At least if it wasnât him to rank up points, for her to be safe at the very least.
âââ: Gently cupping the balloon in both hands, she studied its comical grin. There was no happiness in that smile...It only represented the fear and twisted malice of the players. Destroying it with a jab of her pencil, she prepared to move on until she heard her name.Â
She nearly turn on her heels to greet him when her body suddenly froze. Her head injury, now sporting a thick square bandage, was still in plain view. Hoping not to alert him, she abruptly feigned interest towards a random spot on the ground. Peering behind her, Namine disturbed her bangs until it more or less concealed the bandage--No need to cause him worry while the ward converted into a battleground of mayhem.Â
âSora, Iâm so happy to see you!â
Relief soothed her nervous state upon his appearance. She foolishly dreaded to be plunged into isolation yet again, however his presence washed away those thoughts instantly. She nodded at his offer furiously; she dared not contemplate on her fate should she have braved this task alone.Â
âBut donât worry so much about me. I donât want to slow you down, okay?â
