Im not gonna lie, I started looking forward to this beer on my first pedal stroke. Nothing like a 70 miler with 5000ft of vertical gain during vacation. I rode through Lamoine, Ellsworth, Trenton and Bar Harbor today. Went though Acadia National Parks "Park Loop Road" then up Cadillac Mountain, then back through the towns back to Lamoine. Sure wasn't bad! Went out to challenge myself yesterday by trying to ride up the longest steepest hill I know of. The B17 access road up Mt. Tom, I've tried to ride up a few times before but always had to stop a few times. Yesterday, after many hard leg days in the gym I finally made it up in one push. It's about a mile long with 1000ft of vertical gain, it's a rough one.
