“Dammit!” Aggressively she pushed the table in front of her several feet away from her, the legs screeching in protest to the force. Heaving a mix between a deep breath and sigh, she turned and left the room, shoving the door open as she made her way into the hallway on a mission to figure out how the hell she was going to get out of her and survive.
“Jesus, will you chill. You’re going to end up hurting someone, what the hell is your problem.”

Jason, otherwise known as Jay, was always a very friendly and outgoing boy. He always was surrounded by friends and family, brought home great grades and the most trouble he got in was when he stole a bouncy ball when he was five. It was at this age that he met his two best friends, Esmae and Scarlet. It all started at Esmae’s birthday party that Jay was forced to attend and being five years old he never really understood what was going on anyway. From that day onwards though, it was practically impossible for the three of them to be separated. Growing up together their friendship became stronger, with the three of them ensuring that they were there for one another for all the hardships but it was on three specific occasions that made the final bonds in their relationships. The first milestone was when he and Esmae were going through the cupboards in search for some kind of toy she was after and came across some photos and an adoption letter, instead of showing it her, Jason wanted to protect her and save her from hurt for that little while longer, he instead chose to hide it so she wouldn’t have to find out that way. The second being the hardship they faced with Aimee’s mother, this became a time for all three of them to support each other because not only where the children close as friends but they also formed a bond with each others families. Yet the third moment that was the most life changing in his friendship was when Jay walked in on catching his father cheating on his mother and having to listen to the constant arguments. Not knowing what to do, he turned to Esmae for comfort knowing that Scarlet had enough on her plate without his family drama. It was at this point that everything began to change for the pair as feelings began to surface eventually leading to a kiss being shared and a different kind of relationship forming.
L I F E D U R I N G T H E O U T B R E A K:
Life for Jay went from being crappy to an absolute mess. After watching his own mother being mauled by the undead and torn to pieces right in front of his eyes as she tried to protect him, Jason then went and got himself mixed up with the wrong kind of crowd. Having no one to turn to, considering his girlfriend had up and left without a word after being together for three years and leaving him with nothing but questions as to why the house looked like it had been emptied for a couple weeks now. Add on top of that the fact that he also couldn’t find any signs of his best friend apart from a note saying that she’d found her dad and they’d gone to live with him. Jason went off the deep end, getting himself into all kinds of trouble and sleeping around with anyone he showed interest in, leading him to meet one particular female who’s group he ended up travelling with. Having nothing better to do or any other place to be, he followed them to Cheyenne.

He’s the bad boy, the one that doesn’t care who he hurts or how he hurts them. He’s gone from being that kind, sweet, loyal person he once was to a major flirt that doesn’t really care about anything.

The children had just been put to bed; and it had been a very long day for Esmae. Not only had she been up in the early hours looking after her daughter; who had become ill in the night. However, she was recovering and sleeping well, meaning Esmae finally had time to herself. For once that was. She knew her life was revolving around her husband and children; and she would have it no other way. Her life had become perfect and finally she found herself a life she could be proud of. The years she had spent apart from Jason had become cruel and she saw no end to the constant agony. Except now she was happily married and with children with the man she loved.
A smile reached her lips as Esmae poured herself a cup of tea, pouring the milk before moving into the lounge. There she had left a blanket and set up the fire for warmth. “Jason?” She shouted; not loud enough to wake her children however. She sat down and wrapped herself up in her blanket and kept warm by the fire.
Jason had been looking forward to this moment all day, he often found himself counting down the minutes when they were able to finally get those quiet minutes to themselves instead of either being surrounded by children or him being out on a run and surrounded by walkers. When the twins were born, they had both made a promise to always attempt to make time for each other and not let them lose their relationship again getting lost in their kids or own personal stuff. Hearing her voice calling him as he entered the front door was almost a welcome relief and a comfort at knowing that he had made it back safe, especially after a day like today when it had been a close call. One of the undead had gotten a little too close making his escape prove to be a bit more difficult than he had anticipated. It resulted in him slicing his arm open and having to do a rough stitch up to stop the bleeding.
Dropping his bag by the door, not even having the energy to put it away and just wanting to see her face to reassure himself, he followed the sound of her voice and made his way to the area that they had designated as their lounge. Taking the seat next to her, Jason pulled the woman he loved into his arms holding her close as he closed his eyes. They'd made it. They were all safe.

“It’s never just one without the other. You have her now Jason, don’t worry about me.” there was a reason she kept people out, at arms length. It was like she never existed right? a galaxy far away among the stars, into the universe. Happy was just a simple word that expressed so much meaning. And for once in her life she is. “I am.”
"I have and always will worry about you Scarlet. You were my bestfriend and a huge part of my life, it doesn't matter how much you try to push me away that's never going to change." He let her push him away once, he wasn't about to let her do it again. He smiled at her, something in the back of his mind eased knowing that she as happy. "Good, I'm glad. Can I ask who the lucky guy is?"

‘’Well I think I might know your dad.’’ Briar began, she was uncertain, it had been awhile since she left her old camp but her memory hadn’t completely disintegrated yet. ‘’I used to live at the medical center awhile ago-I didn’t spend all my time there but I still remember the people.’’ She paused as she looked down at the boy. ‘’The medical center-does that sound familiar?’’
He grinned widely at her words, happy at the thought of going back home. "The pooly people place?" That was the only way he could think of to describe his home, there were too many big words in her question leaving him confused. Not knowing what else to do he shrugged his shoulders again, a feeling of sadness falling over him as he began to think that he'd never make it back. "I don't know." Tears began to fill his eyes, all he wanted was his parents.
